I was torn about whether or not to keep these and ultimately decided to because it is so incredibly hard to find boots that fit properly on my skinny legs. These boots are gorgeous! They run big on the shoe part which is why I was on the fence. My heels were slipping when I walked, causing friction (and potential blisters). I ended up buying heel grips and that helped some. The shaft part is very stretchy and form fitting and you can only wear these boots with tight leggings. These are tall boots but I’m 5.8 and they are fine on me. Overall a win.

I wear 7.5 but felt large. I got 7.0 and was perfect.

So I’ve had my eyes on these for a minute. I have some Ralph Lauren y’all leather boots but they are not comfortable. Probably because the sole isn’t rubber or soft like Pliners. Highly recommend. I’m not sure if they need to be treated for rain... They are leather and suede mostly suede . They come up to my knees . I’m 5’6 and have small legs. I got an 8

I was searching for a tall, black boot, but had no luck until I saw these Donald Pliner ones. You’re always taking a risk with online purchases and can’t try them on before you buy them, but I had a feeling these would be first class. The fit, the style-everything about them is perfect. i highly recommend Donald Pliner!!

As others have said, for us tall girls with thin legs, these were amazing! Actually fit my 13” calves! Actually tall enough! Gray! But I ended up returning — there is just way too much elastic/stretch fabric on the sides, with just a strip of suede in the front. It looks weird in the gray, and I’m also worried this will stretch or get worn over time. If they made this in all suede (or with just a small panel of stretch fabric) and slightly less pointy toe... perfection.

I’m 5’9” so these tall shaft boots are perfect for me. Would have preferred if the top was all suede but still they look fantastic. I’ve had many compliments already! Very comfy too, I wore them all day the first day and no blisters! I usually wear a size 9.5 but wanted some extra room for thicker socks so ordered a 10 and they’re great.

The boots were about 1 inch too tall for me (e.g. went up to mid-knee cap, so I couldn't bend my knee). I'm 5'3" and my legs are rather short.
