I can't recommend this pair of shorts enough! I haven't worn athletic shorts in years. Other shorts just never quite fit right in the waist and felt like they hugged all the wrong places. Not these! These shorts were my summer quarantine staple. They are SO comfortable, light and breathable. The fabric dries quickly after a day of fly fishing and wet wading, super comfy for summer hiking with room for movement as I scrambled up rocky areas. I was so pleased with how they suited my muscular build. I am a bit thicker through the thighs and rear and they were perfect. The waist has great stretch if you need it slightly bigger and a drawstring if you want it a little more snug. For reference I am 5' 8", typically a size 14/16 in pants. I purchased size XL shorts, could have done size Lg but I prefer a more active fit. I will be buying these again, no doubt!

Shorts fit well and sit low on the waist which I like. The fabric is fun and very breathable. The liner is comfortable. My only feedback regarding the design is that the bottom of the shorts flare out a little bit, I would prefer they had a little less flare. I use them walking around, to the grocery store, jogging and lifting at the gym. #sweepstakes

I was skeptical about buying shorts from Smartwool because I think of them as a sock company, but I was pleasantly surprised! They're super comfy & cute & they feel great while running. Kind of wish the back pocket could fit a phone but that's my only complaint. I wear a 6 or Med in bottoms and the M fit perfectly. Here to buy more colors!

I am usually not a fan of wearing shorts because they just never seem to fit and be comfortable but these are amazing!!!! Perfect fit. Super light and breathable. Cute pattern plus a little zip storage pocket on back. I'm getting all the styles!!

Purchased these for running. The are comfortable and light weight and very generously stretchy.

Perfect length and fit. I adore the silky and perfectly stretchy fabric. Far superior to lululemon or athleta options. Purchased in 2 colors and am very happy.

Nice light weight shorts. The legs were too big for me. I love the quality of your products. However, I do not like the multi color stripe that you put on EVERYTHING. It cheapens beautiful pieces. I often return because of this stripe.

They fit right and were well constructed. However, I ended up returning them because there was no give in the waistband. This made them hard to get on and uncomfortable. If they added some elastic/stretch to the waistband, I would reconsider buying them.
