These are excellent base layer bottoms--they keep their shape (no stretching out at the knees). Love the lace pattern for wearing with dresses and skirts. Would love other colors besides black and red, such as teal, brown, and burgundy.

I bought these and the fit is great. Soft, comfy, perfect fit off the size chart. They are high waisted on my 5'5" frame. The lace pattern is beautiful, but 100% see through which I didn't expect. Not to be worn as leggings by themselves, at least not without underwear, but I guess you do you.

I bought the base layer lace bottoms to wear under clothes while traveling. I have never worn merino base clothing before. I ordered a large because I measured just between medium and large and was worried they would be uncomfortable if they were too snug. The lace bottoms are beautiful but I should have ordered a medium. They do stretch just a little. I sleep in mine and find them very comfortable.

These are wonderful, good color, nice hand and drape. As well such lovely lace. I wear these for everyday work wear from fall to spring. However, not warm enough for dread cold winter days. They fit excellently, but must be shortened in the leg. I love how the legs are shaped to the average female physique.

I use these bottoms to wear as an underlayer for my other pants. They're not too thick so I can easily move around and they give me extra protection and warmth.

So comfortable. I appreciate so much the waist without elastic.

Love this baselayer! Warm enough for that extra layer working in the garage and breathable enough to wear all day. Wear them all day inside, outside, inside, outside- then skiing at the mountain or hiking for a few hours after work. They make good lounge around the house pants too. (And they are cute)

Very comfy.. not a thin material. Nice and warm. I wear mine as thermals when it's very cold and sometimes as pajamas. So comfy.

This is Classic Smartwool; soft, warm, comfortable. I like the fact that these are mid-rise and NOT high rise leggings which I don't care for. Like other Smartwool base layers....this one is no different. It is soft on the skin, not itchy, yet warm and comfortable. With a great return policy.....I feel safe buying knowing that if it did not fit I get a free return.....

I love these pants and wear them for everything; lounging, sleeping, skiing, hiking and as leggings with dresses. Thank you I wear them thin and then get new ones.

These pants are really cute. It's not cold here so I haven't been able to wear them yet but they would look really cute under a dress or skirt. They're thin though so won't be great for really cold weather. #sweepstakeS

I use this base layer for hiking and skiing. It is very comfortable and keeps me warm. I purchased a Medium (5'4" tall, 135 lbs), but they are a bit large. Probably should have opted for the Small.

Perfect as a Colorado ski baselayer. Nice and warm. Lace is subtle, most visible with a bent leg etc. but a really nice classy touch to an old favorite. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they are a little high-rise for my preferences and the waist band is a little wide.

Needed base layers for a trip I was taking. LOVED the fabric BUT I guessed wrong on the size. I ordered a small and needed a medium because the waist was way too tight. Always hard to guess size on line when you haven't tried the item prior. Had to return since I didn't have time to exchange. :-(

This thin base layer is great to wear under my jeans or work pants for an evening out. They are lace, and have see through pattern. Not as soft as the former 150 weight pants from a few years ago.

This was itchy and loose in the ankle for me, unlike the all-wool base layers. I returned it.

I wear xs in Smartwool tights but xs in this style is way too small and scratchy. Too bad cause they are cute.
