Not good. These are outdated and should no longer be produced. The "cell phone" pocket is too small to fit any modern iPhone. There are also no side pockets, so, for me, these are useless. Returned.

Avid runner and smartwool wearer, but sadly these shorts fall short. They are my ONLY pair of running shorts that I have ever owned that chaffe my inner thigh. I've work cheap target running shorts and expensive athletic clothing brands' shorts and I've never experienced any of the consistent (hot, cold, wet or dry) chaffing that I get from these. Something about the liner just rubs me the wrong way. In need of a rework. Sorry about all the puns.

I was very excited to try the smartwool shorts knowing how well I like the socks. The material feels great and the quality seems very good but unfortunately they will not become my new favorite running shorts. They are very baggy and feel that as well. Not the nice slim feel that a small 5" running short should have.
