Really great arch support. These are the first Pajar boots and I would say run true to size (or true to their size guide). For reference I usually wear a 9.5-10 in shoes and I have always needed a 42 in Pajar boots, but the 42 in these was too large. I would need a 41. They are a little too loose over my instep. I don't feel like I get a sturdy fit from there. If you have a high instep, these might be good for you. The height and cut of these is very unflattering on my legs. It seems to cut them off at a weird height and make them look short and stubby (I have long slender legs so this isn't usually an issue). I love the bottoms and the option to get a little more traction, but they are too unattractive for me to justify the price.

These are good looking snow boots. I had to order up one size so I’d have room for winter socks and to tuck my pants into the boot; my normal size was too tight across the width of my foot. I love the retractable ice grippers but haven’t tried them out yet.

I love the flexibility of being able to use them with or without the "spikes" out. They are great in Denver and will be PERFECT on the icy streets of Omaha and Kansas City too! I wish the top was a little more narrow (I have small calves). But they are warm and I get tons of compliments. Great boots!

Comfortable and ligher weight than I thought they would be. Looking forward to using the ice cleats during the inevitable ice storms. Also easy to get off and on.

I usually order a 40 but it was a little too small and slightly too narrow so I ordered a 41 and it fits well with my winter socks. These are well made beautiful snow boots.

Oddly high (arch?) at inside edge of boot. The material is very hard and inflexible there, not something that could be broken in. A torture spot in an otherwise nice boot.

The fit and size of these boots is just right. I usually wear an 8.5, bought a 9 and it's perfect for me. I live in Alaska where it's often cold and very icy. I wanted a boot that would keep me warm and allow me to navigate icy sidewalks and parking lots with confidence. These boots do that and more. I love the ability to 'stow' the spikes for trips into the grocery store, and other places where you don't want to clack around in spikes. It's so easy to use the key to pull them back out again when needed. These are exactly what I wanted!

I love these boots. I ordered the 6-6.5 which fit perfectly and I usually wear a 6.5. They're good-looking, lightweight and they fit over my high insteps. I'm happy to find a zip up snow boot that doesn't take forever to get into, unlike the lace-up Sorels I've been wearing the past few years. I like the built in spikes so I don't have to deal with putting on Yak Trax on icy days. They don't quite make me look forward to winter weather, but I'm ready!

This boot is exactly what I was looking for, but the boot is too narrow for my foot which measures as a medium width, so I am returning them. I wondered if the insulation would pack down after wearing it for a while or the boot would stretch (didn't seem like it would). They are too expensive to take the chance. I thought about ordering a larger size, but I get tired of returning things, so I didn't.

I'm somewhat reluctant to share how awesome these boots are because I'm thinking of ordering a second pair and, selfishly, if others know about these they'll be out of stock with a backlogged wait list. But, okay, rising to the challenge of being magnanimous, I'll share. These boots have little ice-gripping cleats that you can flip to adjust, with little nubs on one side of the cleat giving a little grip and metal spikes on the other side giving a little bed of nails on the front and back of the sole to pound into ice and snow with each step. They come with a little "key" that's like a bottle opener that's used to flip the cleat and in a step or two the cleat locks into the sole of the boot. Ingenious design! They are also incredibly warm, light, and comfortable. And, as snow boots go, they're pretty!

I really loved these, but they were too big on me. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 and I ordered a 40. I felt like I was sliding around in them. The ice grippers are a neat feature, a little smaller than the ones that I bought that clip over my shoes. Nonetheless have to return them even though they’re super cute.

This is the best snow Boots I ever had! ME AND my mom have this boot but in a different color. We bought them at Nordstrom’s Because we wanted to try them on to see if the fit . They fit me perfect! This was in 2014 when we had the worst winter in Chicago! And we wanted a Boot that was good when there’s ice on the Ground and it worked! I would recommend this book to anyone! But the price is kinda expensive. But worth the price

These boots are great. Mine didn't actually come with the key to open the spikes on the soles, but it seems like I should be able to open them without it. It is a little disappointing to pay the price that includes the key, then not receive it, but at the end of the day, it's not that big of a deal. These boots are comfortable, sturdy, and just what I was looking for.

Love love these boots! Beautiful warm easy to put on and compared to my clunky heavy Ugg Adirondack 1 boots these are light weight in comparison! Heavy sole but it’s a winter boot and there’s flexibility. Very comfortable and also while have not used it yet the flip out ice grippers are a great plus! Highly recommend!!

Great boot, but tight for putting my foot in due to front zipper. Will order a pair with a side zipper

I really wanted to like these boots for the ice grippers and full calf protection!! Following other reviews I ordered a full size up but the boots were much too big. Also, there seemed to be no arch support--felt like big, flat, flippers. I thought it was the size issue, but ordered another style in my correct size (the Louisa was not available) and experienced the same problem with lack of arch support. I will try again with another of their styles or wait for next year's ice gripper designs. Very well made and I like that the tongue has "wings" so the whole opening is covered--keeps snow out of the boot. In WI, that is a major plus!

Terrible boot. Zero quality. I have another pair of Pajars from a few years ago and these are like the BOGO $14.99 version. Unbelievably bad construction, footbed is like flat cardboard, zero cushion or molding or support. Astonishingly bad.

I put on the left boot and thought "these are perfect", then I put on the right boot which was a lot narrower. It was obvious they had been returned before, the box was torn, not all the packing material was there. When the order was placed it showed a delivery date of 2/4. Since I was sent these imperfect shoes I couldn't exchange them because they aren't listed anymore. I did buy them on sale so when they come back in stock I will not get the sale price. I sure hope they don't send them out to someone else. I'm very disappointed.
