Simply one of the best running shoes I've owned. I bought them for trail running but I also tend to use them for running on pavement too as they feel so good! My second pair I've owned and the first pair had great durability

Good cushion on the foot and still felt comfortable picking up the pace a bit. Felt solid on wet surfaces.

I where these shoes everyday. Very comfortable and well made.

Lately product comes in ugly colors The cloth of the shoe breaks very easily, I had one that broke by the great toe

Perfect for me

Comfort, support and a good ride for a heel striker. The fact that they are Gore-Tex makes for an essay clean after a trail run. I will keep buying these shoes. I am saying good by to the "N" shoes.

Overall, very comfortable except for the flaps(shoe lips) kept digging into the top of my front feet which made it a little uncomfortable but this can be easily fixed by pushing the lips down into the shoes. For the Gortex version, buy half size up or else you will have to return for an exchange.

Just as good as the non-goretex model, A+!

I own a machine shop and walk all day long. I've loved using the Clifton 7's as opposed to a work boot. Those are great in the office, but got torn up quickly on the shop floor. The Gore Tex on these Speedgoats blocks oil and coolant from getting the shoe dirty, and helps the shoe stay warmer as well. I thought I'd try the shoes on a whim as a work shoe (if not, would just use them for hiking), and I'm glad I did. They are a little stiff at first due to the Gore Tex but after a week they were perfect. That Hoka cushioning with the durability of the Gore Tex is amazing for my situation!

These do everything the description says, waterproof, breathable, lightweight, cushioned and traction. HOWEVER, they are also satisfactory for running on roads or paved surfaces. I purchased these primarily for the gortex water protection as I run outdoors year round in the wet rain forests of Southeast Alaska and mainly on roads. If HOKA would make Gortex road shoes (Cliftons would be awesome) I would rather have a pair of those. Until then, my feet are dry and cushioned during constant down pours. Snowy, slushy runs, the Speedgoats are in their element. I intend to try them out on trails this summer.

First take: (1) SUPER cush and drop felt nice; (2) felt the stack height for sure, had to be careful on roots and off-camber sections; and (3) probably grippiest tread I've used, felt like micro spikes on the snow!

Love the new speedgoat 4 gortex so much I bought a second pair!

This is a beautifully made shoe, and I love the way it grips snow and most ice and give extraordinary cushioning for my joints.

Wear to work and the gym!

~20 miles in all in snow, ice and slush. These bad boys are grippy and they've kept my feet warm and dry

I purchased Hokas for my dad. He loves them.

I had to size up usually a 9.5 had to get the 10 which fits perfectly customer service was very helpful

These provide the same stability I've come to expect from Hoka plus they are warm and keep my feet dry in the snow and slush.
