I received these for Christmas. While I have had numerous previous models of Speedgoats when I was a Shoe Wear Tester for Runner's World I had not tested the waterproof model. Running in single-digit temperatures in snow in Michigan made these a perfect choice. Great shoes! The 4-wheel drive trail shoes many will enjoy.

comfortable and breathable shoe

I've worn them for a week. Comfortable right out of the box. They run a bit small. I usually wear 11..11 1/2 at most but needed 12 in these and they fit great. Light weight, waterproof and good traction

light, comfortable, sturdy and great when walking in light snow and rain, feet do no get too hot

Love the Goretex for the winter here in Northern Utah. Vibram mega grip does quite well on snowy trails. The cushion is perfect for a guy in his early 40's. Al around great shoe. Speadgoats are my go to for year round trail runs!!

I use it for my outdoor walking. My only complaint is that it was discontinued, so I was unable to purchase a second pair. I am aware that the 5GTX is available, but do not know if it fits the same.

After our current rains I decided to go for a run in my new Speed Goat GTX shoes. It turned out to be splish splash of a run. To top that my feet were nice and dry at the runs end.

I wear this shoe walking, hiking, and all around the house. Love that it's waterproof. My fourth pair of Hokas. Love them all.

I have been having alot of foot and back pain. My pain is much less noticeable in these shoes. I just wish they were available in steel toes so I could wear them to work everyday.

I love the Speedgoat versions 3 and 4 and would run in them forever had they not changed the cushions/soles in version 5. Please keep making Speedgoat 4! They are perfection.

I am a nurse and really liked that these shoes can be wiped down easily and provide safety, and comfort. I liked these shoes so much I bought my wife a pair and she also loves them.

Feels true to size, but I buy Speedgoat 1/2 size bigger than other Hoka shoes.

These are awesome trail runners for any weather!

Use them for playing, walking the golf course. Hoka needs to make the GTXs (waterproof) in wide!!!

I've used these shoes on a 15 mile hike in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. My feet felt fresh and strong the whole time. The mid-sole springiness is amaze.

UPS driver. Hard to find the perfect shoe. This is as close as I have found so far.

Hokas are the best

Second pair since the first is getting worn down after a few years. Really solid shoes and warm in winter running! Also, the laces are strong and durable, much better than then skinny, flimsy laces in the bondis.

SG4 GTX....there is no better winter trail running shoes. SG5s...meh

I switched to these after injuring my foot trail running in shoes with no drop. The Speedgoats have a ton of support that lets me feel comfortable on uneven terrain. The traction is great and the goretex is great for running on muddy trails during or after rain. They're so comfortable, I'm even tempted to wear them into the office

Have to buy 1/2 size bigger on all my Hoka purchases

Third pair of hokas. Wear them almost every day. Comfortable and the goretex is great. Treads are like boots, but better.

Returned for larger size

It's waterproof and now I have one shoe that can be taken on any trip. It's a bit tight to start. I hope it loosens up soon. I followed instructions on the web site. I wear Merrell and it suggested to buy the same size.
