I love this shoe- they fit well and are so comfortable for all day.

I usually wear a woman’s 9. Based on reviews, I ordered a woman’s 9. They were huge! Quick and easy return and reorder. The size 8 is a good length. I feel these are MENs sandals…not really cut for a woman’s foot. They are comfortable, but could use more ability to tighten the laces - or better yet, redesign for a better fit, especially at this price point.

While I said that it felt a half size larger than regular sizing but for me that works as I will wear them with either an arch support or sock [if weather is cold].

I show dogs. In the summer, it’s often on wet grass. I was looking for a replacement for my MANY pairs of Keen Venice H2 sandals. I had to give them up because of the super hard footbed. For 2 years I’ve been searching for a replacement, and have tried dozens of shoes. The Hopara is perfect!!! SUPER cushy footbed and great support. They *are* a bit warmer than I’d like, due to the neoprene. And they’re definitely clunky looking. But oh, the comfort! They have a ton of adjustability. I have a WW foot, and I was able to loosen the Hopara so it feels great. Cannot recommend enough!

Very cute, comfortable, fit great. But after wearing 15 minutes, my low back hurt. So, I waited and tried them again the next day. Same result. I loved the shoe but had to return on that basis.

I love Hokas for running so knew I would also like these sandals. They look great and are very comfortable. I can also run in them if I want - they are that sturdy and supportive.

Hoka shoes have been a game changer for me. I broke my femur and have a 12 inch plate and 14 screws along with 2 new knees. I have had issues with walking and now HOKA shoes have provided me with relief. I have purchased 2 more! Love these shoes.

Wife wears 8.5 in her other Hokas but had to return the 8.5 and downsize to a 8 for these water shoes. She loves them says they are very comfortable.

the shoe fit great,, but it was ugly as hell. I couldn't walk around with boat feet in aqua blue shoes.

I LOVE Hoka river/water/sand sandals. Before the Hopara I had the Hoka Trafas. I've had 3 pairs of these Hoparas, and they all fail on the heel strap. Hardly any wear on the sole or elsewhere on the shoe - but the heel strap falls apart. The other piece of feedback - the Hoka Tor Rafas had a grippier, more low to the ground sole - which made rock hopping and river travel a safe and enjoyable activity. The soles on the Hoparas are thicker, reducing sensitivity and overall stability. Still the best water sandal out there - but could be better.

I loved the hoka hopara and really wanted them to work for me. Unfortunately the arch area of my one foot rubbed on the arch area of the shoe and the ripples in the sole caused redness and tenderness on my foot. I knew I would end up with a problem if I wore them all day on the river and walking all over. I was so sad to return them because I need the cushion and support of Hokas.

I love my Hoka Bondi and wanted something for beach walking and summer. The Hopara size was exactly same as the Bondi for me. It is wide but it works ok with the draw string closure. The support is great . I plan to take to a beach soon and try them out. Just wish they were a little more stylish and feminine looking. Kind of a box look !

I bought to wear them in the house due to my feet and knee issues. They are really comfortable and gives you a really good solid footing with a solid balance. The reason it's not full 5 stars is because my first pair arrived defective with a broken band and the style is bit clunky. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend them.

They have plenty of room to wear socks, which I appreciate in the Winter so that I still have ventilation because my feet get hot in walking shoes. I just went shopping for the first time wearing them and they were just fine, even on concrete floors. They're not sexy, I'll tell you that, but they do the job and that's what I needed badly. I was ready to give up, but I don't know what I was going to do next because this has been going on for years now, and you can't help feeling like you're just throwing money away. Thank goodness for Zappos, because the investment keeps working for you, but it gets wearisome after a while. I am so happy with my Hoka walking shoes and now these sandals, so I know I'll be getting more! Thank you Hoka! And thank you Zappos! You're the best!

The material is all synthetic therefore it feels warmer than I’d like for a warm weather shoe; however, it serves the purpose of hiking with good tread, water trekking, comfort, and covering toes.
