I purchased this shoe to wear while running around water parks and beaches since I can't go barefoot and need good support due to plantar fasciitis. It's a bit bulky, but the comfort and support are perfect. Other strengths: no slipping in the shoe or on the slippery surfaces, no blisters or rubbed spots, and the shoe stayed secure and didn't feel heavier or awkward when in the water.

i don't normally like wearing sandals because a lot of them don't feel like they will be secure or protect my feet compared to regular shoes. these are the best of both worlds, fully enclosing my feet but also breatheable. i can wear them with or without socks. with no socks i can wear them in the water. they are pretty nice.

I exchanged these for a 1/2 size smaller, since I won't be wearing socks. At nearly 70 years old, these cushioned, stable shoes are perfect for me. I have bad joints and Hokas solve that problem. I feel stable and like I am wearing sandals. these shoes are what I expect from Hoka.....COMFORT at it's finest.

Outstanding comfort and support! A great sandal for everyday and for walking the dogs, hiking and the beach. For anyone with knee or back pain, these are for you. I can't say enough about how comfortable these are. Would love it if they came in brighter colors too!

Usually where another similar style sandal and after the past two years wearing the tennis shoes I decided to try the sandals. Very happy with them!!

I've had 3 foot surgeries and 3 knee injuries. Most shoes are so painful to put on and off and walk in. These are extremely comfortable, very stable, and secure. Within weeks I bought another pair of Hokas for hiking. Outdoor fun here I come!
