With Homas I have to go down a 1/2 size as they run long. I love the shoe.

Was struggling to change over from Nike. Getting older, my knees get sore a lot faster when working out. I also deal with that over pronation or whatever it's called LOL. My friend turned me onto Hoka One One. I ordered in my regular Nike size, 9, and then worried when I read reviews for this brand. For some reason, this shoe fits perfectly. There is room in the toe, which I love. I could wear thin or thick socks and not worry about discomfort. I've had these shoes for a few days and was on my feet for over 10 hours the other day. My feet were great, there is no break in period wearing them. Actually, it was the first day I had the shoes. I brought a spare of old shoes in case these hurt. I'm excited to add these to my workout. I suggest --for this particular brand -- to go with your regular size.

I'm glad they run a bit wider. They are just right for my usually EE width. These shoes are marvelous. Like walking on air. Loving them so much. But they are a bit too built up for aerobics/dancercise. But they are wonderful for all other uses. Highly recommend.

Been buying for years and never had an issue

I love these shoes - my first pair of Hokas. They feel very supportive and have a nice "push off" motion but nothing extreme at least in this model. I often wear and 9.5 in running shoes using my orthotic, but a 9 was quite roomy in these so maybe they run a tad bit large. I'll buy another pair in a bit darker color soon! They are a little clunky looking but seem to be doing better designs.

I feel compelled to write this review because these have been a game changer for me. I normally do not write reviews except when something exceeds my expectations. I wear a size 10 to 10 1/2, ordered a 10 1/2 in the shoe and they fit perfectly. I have a medium width foot, and these give me enough room without being sloppy. I wear an 11 or an 11 1/2 in previous ASICS. I typically like to change up my workout routine, and have been able to do all classes as well as weight training in these with full comfort. I am also able to do push-ups planks and exercises that require hyper extension of my big toe without difficulty. That is a game changer! Love these shoes! So comfortable! For anyone who has Hallux rigidis, I would encourage you to try these.
