Very comfortable to use in hiking. Sturdy and good quality

Just put them on and go with comfort on the day

These are super comfy - no question. The white line on the sole isn't the nice thin line as it appears in the photo (it's a big thick line..) - and the tips of velcro sticking out on the edges of the straps are just a little strange (and not precisely trimmed) - so those things were a tiny bit disappointing to this very detail-oriented soul. But I have worn these every day since they arrived - they are great on the sidewalk and that was the goal.

I pretty much wear cross fit or running shoe not because i run, I do not. That is what I wear because of back issues, I need that heel shock absorption that it gives me. I have been really happy how these sandals have given me this support and that I am able to wear them and do lots of walking for hours! They also give me the ankle support that I need. Do I still have issues with my back after wearing them, yes, just as I do with running shoes, but so much less hurting while and after wearing as I get from most other shoes. I'm very limited in what shoes I can buy. I'm very happy with them. Along with back issues, I have one foot with circulation issues as well, its always swollen and swells as the day progresses . Having the ability to loosen and to adjust the Velcros straps makes that a plus for me as well.

Wandered all over rocks and loose terrain and in wet conditions. Sandals did great. Lost my footing zero times

I wasn't expecting the maroon color on the straps, but it's not super visible so I've gotten over the fact that they are not totally black. They appeared a little orthopedic because of the neoprene under the straps at first, but I've worn them with dresses and with outdoor hiking clothes and think they are cute. Most importantly thought, they are so incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly. I typically wear a 7.5 -8 in most shoes, but I wear a 7 in Teva sandals, so they must run big.

Waterproof, comfortable, just what I was looking for!

These shoes are so comfortable and look great. I have yet to take them on a long hike yet but they were perfect for a camping weekend and for around the neighborhood.

Very comfortable. I have a narrow foot and the adjuster band across the toes was perfect. Sometimes that adjuster tab will hang over the edge of the sandal making them unwearable. However, I think there is enough adjustment that someone with a wider foot would find the sandals a good fit too.

I would like to say I'd give a 4.5 star. The sizing is not consistent with the same shoes I bought just over a year go. These were a touch smaller and I considered sizing up. However, these are the most comfortable shoes I own. They are great for light hikes or wading in water.

Got these before a summer trip where I knew I'd be hiking and on the beach, and thought they'd do well in both settings. I was so right!! Couldn't be happier with how comfortable these are, and I also think they're pretty good looking thanks to the vibrant sole and I've been enjoying them just walking around the city where I live. I prefer a size 40 in another brand of sandals that I also love, and found a 9 in these fit perfectly.

I would like the toe band moved a little closer to the toes.

I Love them. They are well made, look great, and very comfortable. What more can you ask from a sandal?

When warm weather arrives, I like the option of wearing sandals instead of sneakers. I used to be able to wear just about any show or sandal, but with osteoarthritis in one foot, I have to be careful to wear only "good" shoes, sandals, and boots. This pair of Teva sandals was my first, but it won't be my last. They are comfortable all day and I didn't have to break them in. To look at them, I wouldn't think they have such great support, but they do.

Have been hiking through Spain - all kinds of terrain. They were comfortable immediately - no breaking in period. I can adjust them specifically for my feet. Great support.

Over the years I have purchased several different types of sandals and hiking shoes. Not only are they comfortable (and I have bad feet) but they last forever!! The high top hiking boot shoes I bought 6 years ago are still my first go to whenever I know I'll be walking a lot-and now these incredible sandals are right up there with them. Since the moment I got them in the mailI have worn almost nothing else!

These are so worth the money! Working in an elementary school I need a pair of sandals that are 1) non slip 2) no blisters 3) waterproof 4) supportive 5) attractive I have to say that these delivered 5 stars on all 5 points. They are adjustable and the color was even prettier in person. Lighter blue and gray than pictured. I hesitated for a bit due to the price, but these are worth every penny!

This is my go to sandal for everyday errands, lunch with friends, walking, shopping at the mall. Great support, cushioning, comfortable padded straps. Love.

I have been wearing Teva Sandals for 35 years. I have owned many styles from technical to fashion and boots. These Universal Trail style are good on the trail, they work for me but I would love them more if they had more grippy tread. I do love that they have the velcro straps as many of the technical trail Tevas do not. They are super easy on and off and adjustable. The fit is comfortable, classic Teva. Perfect for summer hiking. I love the colors. I got the blue. They go with everything. They are a bit pricey for such basics but I am glad that I purchased these.

The universal trail can handle the road, look stylish running errands, and give support working in the yard!

These are amazing!

I wore these pretty much every day on my pilgrimage in the holy land. No regrets!
