I wanted to love these shoes, but they rubbed the side of my slightly wide foot in a really uncomfortable way, so they are going back. They are really great looking and felt very lightweight compared to other hikers. They look more like high top sneakers than traditional hiking boots. The blue and yellow color combination is really pretty. The tongue is attached high into the top of the shoe to keep water and debris out.

Love them, but I have wider feet and they hurt after wearing one day. I'll need to stretch them out further to get them comfortable.

There is a hard stop on the left shoe right where the ball of foot is located.

These were comfortable but I expected a TEVA footbed like they use in their Omnium sandals. Instead, the footbed is completely flat, no arch support. The toe box is roomy, which is good. They're fine for wearing around the house, but I wouldn't want to be hiking in them for an extended period of time.

The circulation in my left foot was compromised. I think if there was a wide option the fit would've been better. I love the appearance.

I did about 10 miles hiking and 2 full travel days in these boots in Utah and all I can say is that they really annoyed me. My specs- size 9, average width, slightly high arch. The positives are that these boots are very cute, lightweight, and I never got a blister despite wearing them fresh out of the box.
Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives. The soles have very little support and my heels would quickly ache, but there wasn’t enough extra room for me to add a thicker insole. The wide toebox initially interested me, but I found it is not good if hiking any kind of decline because your toes slide around and stability is greatly reduced. The shoe also tightened on the widest part of my foot and caused numbness that I could only get rid of if I laced loosely but then the boots weren’t secure enough to hike in. But even with laces completely loose, the shoe was so tight on the widest part of my foot that I could never get comfortable in them. It wasn’t horrible pain but just enough to keep me annoyed!
Overall I’m super bummed about this purchase, I was hoping they’d stretch out but no luck. These may work for a person with very narrow feet and low arch.

Very cute. Very lightweight for a hiking boot. For me - I am a pronator and have a weak ankle - I’d see this more as a casual shoe to wear when running errands in the Pacific Northwest or something, not something I’d reach for when doing an actual hike on unsteady terrain. Ultimately decided to return because I’d want a half size bigger and the other pair of boots I ordered to try on worked on the first try.

These shoes were so comfortable at first because they are perfect for people with wide feet but they are not waterproof at all or made for cold weather! I've been wearing them a ton since I'm backpacking and they are definitely made for warm dry weather which I wish I knew before. They held up perfectly until about 40 degrees Fahrenheit though. I normally wear a size 5.5 and bought a 5.5 and a 6 and wish I went with the 5.5 after wearing the 6's for a month. On the bright side they are really good quality shoes.

Okay so I said yes because of all of the good reviews and I was hopeful. They are nice shoes, lightweight, but the toe area has curving up at the toe joint area and I can't imagine that it won't just be painful after a few minutes of walking. Weird. Maybe I have a defective pair. Both them are the same it is like they curve up in that area. I have a great pair of Anhu I wore for four years and hoped these would be very similar. BUt they are running true to size and toe bed is wide if it weren't lumpy that would be great.

This was not the lightweight waterproof shoe I was looking for. Compared to the Salomons I ordered at the same time, this boot was heavy and stiff. The opening was narrow and difficult to get my foot into. Once my foot was in, the toe box and width were comfortable. In fact, the toe box was really high and roomy beyond what was needed. I returned these - who wants to struggle to get your feet into shoes every day?

Honestly wanna give these a 2 just cuz of how badly they hurt on my feet but I see other people really like it so maybe it's just me. I only saw one other review mention this issue but there is a weird ball under the front ball of my foot and it huuuuurts. Definitely returning, this doesn't seem like something that's going to be good for my arch. It's such a strange feeling but I love these shoes. I'm so sad, maybe I'll try the mens version?

I had these sitting in my cart for months. They look nice in the photo and there are quite a few positive reviews. Not every foot is the same, so I always expect a few negatives. Unfortunately, for me, they weren’t positive for me either. After finally getting them to try, they also feel cheap. The material just isn’t nice.
The laces are great, easy to tie and stay put.
The Vibram sole, can’t be beat.
I also like the heal strap.
That’s where it ends though. They do have a kind of plastic bag sound when you walk. The inner fabric above the forefoot/toe area is all bunched up. The toe box did not feel particularly roomy. They’re more like a clunky, glorified sneaker. I don’t like the fake suede or the toe guard, they are just kind of funky. They feel strange too. Like I can feel the tread under foot.
I usually wear 10 in hiking boots, these felt a tad too big. But I don’t think a smaller size would change my mind.
I only wore them inside my house, so I can’t say how well the water proofing is.

I've been trying to find a hiking shoe for a wide foot, without success--but this has been the closest so far. I'm moving on to men's shoes, but this is a great shoe. I wear an 8.5 and ordered up to a 9, but the base of the toe area was still not wide enough. I hate I could not keep these, because they are obviously well-made. The blue color is sharp, and I like the lace tightening feature for the ankle. That they are goretex too is really bumming me out--but 9.5 would be way too long. I just need like half a centimeter more at the base of the toe!

I like that companies are trying to improve the boot design to provide more ankle support BUT it rubbed too much on my lateral ankle in a painful way, so I had to return them.

Bought these to replace my old Ahnu boots, and to wear in the summer when my leather hiking boots seem too heavy and warm. These felt pretty good out of the box, but a hiking trip to Yosemite was too much for them, and I did only 3 days of easy to moderate trails.. These are more like turbo-charged sneakers, which is ok for around town or a short couple hours hike. The lower ankle height meant nonstop small rocks and dirt getting into my boots and there just isn't enough cushioning or stability for a long day of hiking up or down inclines. These just don't replace real hiking boots for stable protection and long term comfort, sorry Teva!

Profile was lower than I expected and toe was too round. Love the style but simply landed as more of a bulky tennis shoe that hiking boot for me. Returned.

9.5 size was as expected, inner sole is soft but not as thick and comfortable as I had hoped based upon other responses, the material used for the outer upper was much stiffer and less comfortable than expected. This was especially the case for my pinky toes and the upper arch of my foot. The overall style and sturdy construction were as expected. I would trust this in the rain and on rocky or uneven trails.

Sadly, these boots will not survive with me in the wild. :) While they were stylish enough with good soles, there was no arch support and my foot felt like it was "negatively" leaning (if that makes sense)....my toes were higher than my heels. This is the brand that took over Ahnu, and I have a pair of Ahnu that are awesome (winter hiking boots) but, as is my luck when I find something I love, it is discontinued. These must return to their homeland.

Size was fine. Manufacturing design results in a lump on the inside edge of the footbed under my big toe joint. Otherwise they'ed be pretty good.

I needed waterproof walking shoes primarily to walk my dog in inclement weather.
The shoe is fairly comfortable, but the waterproof fabric crunches when I walk and it drives me crazy.

I had high hopes for this boot with a wide toe box. It went on like a dream but once I put weight on it, I could tell that it would not support a 3-5 mile hike in steep terrain.

I have had Oboz hiking shoes before and loved them. I tried the latest Sawtooth model but it was too tight across the toe box. The Grandview felt a little more comfortable, but again, the toe box was a bit too tight. I also realize that the low-cut boot style is "too much shoe" for me. I'll be checking out Oboz hiking shoes in the future with fingers crossed.
