I meant my review to be for this sandal but inadvertently reviewed the Hurricane Verge which were not comfortable for me and returning. However these sandals are great. They are comfortable right out of the box. They have good support and do not sit or rub on my sensitive areas on my feet. I wore this type of Teva sandals many years ago but forgot about them. I will have to checkout some other colors in this same style.

I purchased several different pairs of sandals for an upcoming vacation with a lot of hikes and water activities planned. These were the most comfortable and supportive pair of all of the ones I tried, including the hurricanes, originals, terra fi lites, and the tirra. One thing I really liked was that the they don’t have the plastic triangle that a lot of TEVAs have connecting the straps on the side. It is soft and felt much better on my foot. They also have a thin pad on the back of the ankle which is nice. I wish the bottom were maybe just a bit less chunky but I guess that’s the trade off for comfort and support. The tirra were also comfortable, but I preferred the style of the terra fi lite.

Comfy and straps are adjustable. I have narrow ankles so that was a nice feature. Took these on a tour at the Grand Canyon and Vegas. Not good for rocky trails or lots of gravel, but good at flatter well walked areas.

The strap across my ankle did not fit. I have ankles that swell and there was not enough strap to close.

Normally I wear an 8 in Tevas but the 8 was way to big this time so I tried the 7 and it fits just fine.

Solid shoes... great for walking, running, light hiking, and swimming.

I have difficult feet - bunion, heel spur and painful bony spur on top of my foot. And after surgery to remove an ingrown toenail, my big toe has never felt comfortable. What I love about. These TEVA Terra Fi5 Universal is how easy it is to adjust the straps. The strap closest to my bunion does go over it but being adjustable and cushioned, so far so good.
