I liked these but they were just a bit too much sandal. If I was a real river rat that needed super support 8 would choose these. I went with the Hydratech instead.

The shoe is not lightweight,
Actually they are kinda heavy.
Also, while they fit well, there isn't any padding on the bottom, the bottom of my foot needs padding.

I bought these because of the sturdiness and that they appeared to have good arch support. Unfortunately, the insole compresses while wearing and thus the shoes did not give good arch support. The shoes were well made and my only wish is that you would make a pair, just like this, with a much firmer foot bed. The shoes were, however, very well made.

I have worn Tevas for over 20 years. They always had the coolest colors, sole patterns, and most efficient designs. But the recent changes in materials is dismal. My first tevas I got were the storm hiking trail sandals, and they lasted me from the age of 10 to 22, worn almost 24/7 every summer in and out of mud, water, dirt, heat, etc. Of course when they finally kicked it, I got more Tevas because you can't beat a sandal like that. The next pair only lasted 8 years, but still a decent time. I then purchased a pair of the Tirras, which were comfortable as all get out, but barely made it 2 years before falling apart at the seam where the straps went in. I had bought another pair on closeout, and these lasted 1.5 years. I thought, I'll give Teva one more try.
So onto this sandal. I'm very active and need a sandal that has tread. The Terra Fi Univerals fit the bill. And I thought being higher end and having a strap pattern similar to my original storms, I couldn't go wrong. WRONG.
The sandals themselves? Immediately comfortable, love the design, tread was amazing, seemed versatile.
Drawback? Same thing as the Tirras. Started pulling apart at the seams same place on both shoes, and only in 3 months of light wear. Around the yard...uptown to the store, in the house. That's all I got to wear them. It's midsummer and I now have no sandal to go hiking or fishing with. I'm not sure what cuts they've made or changes to make it vegan etc, but Teva quality went out the window with it. I was a lifelong Teva fanatic until the sandals of the last 10 or so years when they started using the foam-like soles over the rubber. They just aren't built to last like they used to be, and can honestly say I doubt I will ever by Teva in the future after spending over $200 on their sandals in the last 4 years alone, for all of them to fall apart. Fortunately this most recent purchase was through Teva itself and came with a warranty, but would rather have functional sandals.

I bought these sandals for an upcoming vacation. I haven't worn Teva's in years and I wanted something new to wear. These sandals are so comfortable. I really like the rugged sole for walking on different surfaces. This is a great sandal for style and comfort. Love the Cactus color. I would buy more of these sandals in the future,

This particular style of Teva sandles are everything I wanted in an everyday sandle. The pad under the triangle makes the difference in all day comfort. I ordered this model because of this feature. This pair of Teva sandles is my 5th over the years. They are also the best ones yet!

The Teva hiking sandal is GREAT for walking, hiking, and kayaking! I have had (through many years) about 6 pairs! I still Love them, even though after long wear the soles separate and I super glue them back together! They still hold up!!

I have bought 2 pairs of the Fi 5's. They are the only pair pf sandals I've worn for pavement and trails that are supportive and cushy enough for my bad (arthritic and cartilage deprived) knee. They also have the cushioned guards over the bands and plastic triangle "joints", so I haven't gotten blisters that I've had from other Tevas. Would love more earthy colors!

I was curious as to whether or not these Sandals would really be useful for "Hiking". They are perfect for "Light" Hiking & are quite comfortable.

I have had Teva sandles before so I knew they would be good. These Terra Fi 5 did not disappoint me. They are comfortable and supportive. I am careful to choose Teva's that have the cushion tab placed under the connector triangles.

I wear these nearly all year long. It's an imposition to have to wear any other shoes. They are indestructible, incredibly comfortable, and last forever. Please don't ever change them.

These sandals were just great! I have high arches and sometimes struggle to find a sandal that gives me the arch support I need. Fingers crossed I took the Tevas on an 8 day trip where I know I would be on my feet a lot. So comfortable! I was wearing them 10-12 hours a day with no complaints from my feet. Thank you for a great product.

Buying these sandals was a "splurge" for me, but I'm so glad I decided to make the purchase. The first time I wore them was like walking on a cloud and they didn't get any less comfortable as I wore them throughout the summer and early fall.
I love all of the cushioned straps and how well-made and reinforced all the fabric bits are. I never got a single blister. I do a lot of hiking in the summers and work on my feet, teaching summer art camps; these sandals held up to it all and still look presentable.

Took these out to the PNW to hike with my daughter this summer, put some miles on them in Idaho, Montana and Oregon. Were perfectly comfortable, dried quick, great grip, had some people stop me and ask what it was like hiking in sandals, let them know these were great!

My very first purchase of Teva was in the 1990's at a store in Watkins Glen NY, near where my twin was living. I fell in love from that day on. Because they last FOREVER, I really haven't had to purchase many since then! The only reason why I purchased this new pair was because the rubber sole finally started coming off my very old pair... I almost feel as though that older pair was at least 20 years old! I wear my Tevas all the time in the summer. I love that I can just rinse my feet off with them on and not have to worry about the water ruining them.

I had bought a 1 strap teva in the past, 3 bands criss crossed on the toes then just 1 strap around the ankle. That was very comfortable and did not have to break them in but could not find the same model since I lost those on a trip. Since then however have not found another comfortable Teva's until this one. It's mainly because of the comfy foot bed and the straps are all padded. The straps with the other models would typically give me blisters. It is cute, I wear them with my dresses when I travel or wear them on hike or somewhere where water is involved. I have an average arch height and Chaco's is too arched where it digs in to my arches, Teva's foot bed is the best overall. I can walk miles and miles when traveling around the city even with cobble stones and my feet are very happy with this pair. Definitely worth all the money and would repurchase again as long as the model exists.
