Comfortable, Velcro straps don't always hold that well, run a little big , using for boating and kayaking

I bought these for going to our local town beach on a lake & for exploring the rivers.

Styling is odd. Why create the imitation buckles and straps on the outside of it, if it's one injection molded piece?
Still, great for the wet light duty hiker.

Supportive enough for working out too - if it doesn't involve aggressive lateral motion.

Too big to be useful. You need to provide 1/2 sizes!

I bought this for my husband. Had to go up 1 size since it doesn't come in wider width. He's very happy with the look and feel of the shoe although if he wears a sock they are slightly snug. If these were made in wider widths, I'd purchase again.

I've been looking for a pair of injected foam shoes for years that have a heel and not just a heel strap. I used to have a pair that I took as a river crossing pair on a thru hike. I would take off my trail shoes and slip into them to cross water while traversing the Wind River range in WY. They were perfect.
When I saw TEVA made an injection mold foam shoe, I was super pumped. The Omnium makes a great river crossing shoe that you can hang off your pack. There are one or two draw backs. They are a little heavier than some other injection foam shoes (due to the better and beefier soles). There is a velcro strap that sometimes shifts and falls behind the tongue (a true single mold would have been better for more strenuous activity).
Another pro about the Omnium is that they are actually pretty warm for an open shoe. My toes are pretty insulated and the toe bed doesn't have any big opening so it keeps out the ever present pebbles and rocks in streams and rivers.
In the end, I realize this review is based on more specialized conditions. The Omnium is a fine lounge shoe as well but I'm someone who's concerned with trail performance. If you want a nice light pair of shoes that float and that you can use in water while wading, fishing, etc., the Omnium Drift is a decent choice.

Great for the water and walking. Easily transitions from the water to land. Feet can get hot if worn a long time in the sun.

The material is a bit stiff but otherwise good for water shoes.

This is my second pair of Optiums. Very comfortable and solid support on the first pair. The leather Optiums are adjustable for width, back and ankle. These plastic ones are only adjustable for ankle. Great for walking in the morning dew or at their beach, but not for long distance in socks like the leather Optiums.

Yes the sandal is light and quite comfortable, but every time I trail walk the inevitable pebble and burr gets lodged in sandal.

This pair is not as good as the regular strap on kind, but they are cheaper! Get what you pay for I guess! Not as much fit control with only one strap.

These shoes are made of a rubbery material that make them light-weight and unaffected by water. But out of the water, the shoes are sort of sticky (on the inside), and they don't breathe at all. They feel like hot rubber gardening shoes; not at all like cool summertime sandals. I think I'll be able to find a use for them as amphibious shoes, but not as dry-land shoes.

I love these but have to say my first time wearing them resulted in bad heel blisters. Hoping it was just breaking in process

I like the concept of the shoe, but there's a design problem. The instep strap needs a loop securing it to the "tongue." The slight lip provided does not keep the strap from slipping over. When this occurs the shoe is so loose it can slip off.

I wanted injected molded sandals for backcountry camp shoes, big, stream, and river crossing. Most injection shoes lack a heel so I thought these would be good. They are decent but need some redesigning.
The tongue has a tendency to get caught under the strap when stretched. Under high impact jumps, the strap can pop loose. Eliminate the strap and have a single piece mold that can be slipped on.
The shoe has too much dead weight. There are other brands (hard to find now) that reduced the fancy looking nonessential fake straps, etc. people are looking for light weight when the choose an injection sandal, not haute couture. We all know they are hideous, we just want ultralight.
The foam in these wear out quickly. If they retail for 5X the price of the cheaper versions, Teva should provide a better chemical foam formula that lasts longer.
In conclusion, I will use them until they die (which by the looks of it will be one summer). I'm hoping you will redesign these some changes- if so, you could corner a market that has not been well tapped into (ultralight injection mold river crossers)

Was looking for a closed-toe, quick on/off, waterproof sandal to walk a half-mile gravel path to, and into the pool. The Omnium Drift seemed to check all the boxes. I wore them a few minutes around the house and detected a very slight "hot spot" on the back of my heel but decided to ignore it to my peril. Got about half way to the pool and the ODs seemed to be everything I was looking for. They kept the gravel out, were sturdy underfoot on the gravel, and were obviously going to be capable to walk right into the pool and slip off. About half way there, around the point of no return, the hot spot had grown to pain, and I foolishly decided to continue. By the time I got there my heels were raw and bleeding. Luckily an acquaintance was there and I was able to bum a ride home. I have consequently cut the heel down to the fake molded "strap" but the problem remains. Said "strap" makes cutting the heel down further awkward such that I purchased a similar product from Crocs, that, while not as sturdy overall, serve my purpose otherwise.

I made sure to size these as close as I could before ordering and they run big and narrow with little to adjust other than the fit around the ankle. Somehow with how they fit they still manage to look like the biggest clogs ever made. The pictures don't do it any justice to how these look in person. Even looking at the pic I uploaded the front toe box is wide but somehow transitions too narrow to the rest of the shoe. They are extremely stiff. I feel like I would have to be inseparable with these for half a year to possibly break them in. Theres also little ventilation for these clunkers so your feet will get hot. From reading the reviews, the leather version of these is amazing. I think they tried to make a eva foam version of the leather shoes and totally missed. I should have just gone with a Teva sandal for water use instead of these because anytime you step out in these expect a lot of "WHAT ARE THOSE?!"

Very unfortunate: the RIGHT sandal is same length as the left but the arch is much lower, VERY uncomfortable, useless. My right foot is NOT bigger than the left.
Considering the price, the hassle to return it was not worth my time.

A bit too loose. The velcro strap too short to tighten down further.. Don't hold feet in while in muddy sandy lake water and the suction of walking. A snap strap down is better.
Like light weight.

I purchased these for my son as water shoes for floating/camping. They are stiff and look like clogs. They have no give and instantly gave him blisters. I have to find alternative shoes before our next trip.
