These sandals are the least uncomforatable and least terrible of any sandals currently on the market. I know this because I have bought and returned 15 different pairs of various brands. They do have some good features - they look nice, the footbed is pretty close to the old classic Teva, and hence comfortable, and they have the little Teva pop clasp, a rarity these days. But they have two infuriating and exasperating features - non-continuous cross straps at the toe and the ankle. This means there's a big gap right above your big toe and right at the top of your foot in front of the ankle, and that means your foot hurts right in those two places. What's infuriating and exasperating is that it would be so simple to correct this, as it is on my 15-year-old Tevas. It wouldn't even make it cost any more to make, a major consideration for Teva these days. Of all the executives, product engineers, supervisors, marketing gurus, managers, vice presidents and bean counters who work for Teva, doesn't anyone wear sandals? I suspect they all wear army boots. In a just world, these sandals would be consigned to the dustbin of history. In the world we live in they're the best available and I'm going to keep them and stick moleskin on all the unecessarily bumpy and uncomfortable parts because there is literally nothing else available.

I've had a pair of these sandals for years, and they have by far been the most comfortable footwear I've owned. They are now quite battered now, and I really looked forward to getting a new pair. But Teva has made a fatal change. The underside of the two straps on top of the foot are no longer a single strip of leather but consist of two pieces with a gap between. That gap irritates the foot, and wearing the sandals quickly becomes quite painful. I don't know what Teva was thinking. I can't see any cost saving in the change. But for me it has ruined the sandals.

I am a woman wearing these because I can not find woman’s in the same style. They have much better support than the women’s I have tried.

Overall they feel pretty good for a new pair of sandals. The straps are slightly uncomfortable, but I always experience that or some other discomfort with new sandals so it's par for the course as far as I'm concerned. The footbeds have plenty of padding and the footbed covering is nice and soft so that part is a big plus. The soles give great traction, which is something I was looking for. One of the best features, in my opinion, is the fastex-type buckle on the top strap at the ankle. It's so much better than messing with the velcro every time I take them off or put them on. Overall, I find them to be a good value, as I have in the past with Teva sandals.

So far so good. Not as comfortable as I would have liked but they’re growing on me.

These are very well made sandals, with quality materials and construction. The side Fastex-like buckle is a huge plus, in my opinion. The sole provides fantastic traction and the footbed is soft with good padding...possibly too good padding, depending on individual preference. I love them, but they're just too wide for my narrow feet so I have to send them back. My old Tevas, which are about worn out, are noticeably more narrow than these, so either Teva is now making their sandals wider or just this model is wider. If you have fee that are on the wide end of the spectrum they might be a great choice. I would have given them 5 stars in all categories if they had fit better.

I have an old pair of Teva's in size 10 1/2 and I am trying to replace them. Unfortunately they no longer make that size and the 10 is a little small but the 11 is a little too big.

The Teva sandals have a "across the front" strap that has a very thick leather area that digs into the foot, making it almost impossible to wear. I will be returning them to try another manufacturer.
