I'm giving these a 1 in hopes that Wrangler and other people read my review. These jeans are EXTREMELY inconsistent. The inconsistency comes from the color/fabric combination. When you order these...note the cotton/stretch percentage varies GREATLY based on which color of denim you select. In 2 different colors in this EXACT same style: one has 98% cotton and 2% elastane; the other has 64% cotton, the rest being synthetics (viscose, elastane and polyester.) Consequently they fit differently and the comfort factor is different. They feel like 2 VERY different styles of jeans. And they look different as well due to the amount of stretch, especially in the butt area. ADDITIONALLY the lengths are different. The one with more cotton was about an inch shorter than the other. I ordered a 32" inseam, as a previous pair of these I own are 32". The new pair drags on the ground. Therefore, it is explainable why some people say these jeans fit perfectly and other people say too tight/too loose. Because it all depends on the pair and the color.

Its Aug I bought in Jan barely wear them because of the price and the material ripped already. For this price they should last longer then 8 months and be able to be worn more.

Worst purchase ever!! Fourth pair that I have bought and they have all ripped in the same area! Very poorly made and not worth the price. Don't waste your time

I returned the jeans. When I opened the package, there was a funny smell. The jeans overall didn't look right.

These jeans are not true to size. I ordered 34" inseam and these jeans don't even measure 33" long. I am so angry about this purchase. I can't/won't return them because Wrangler charges a ridiculous amount of money for returns. It's a horrible scam. Do not purchase from Wrangler unless you are absolutely sure the jeans you are ordering will fit.

I've been buying Mae style jeans for years and was excited to try a trouser style. They are not cut the same and they are very low waist.

I saw other people had similar issues to me. The belt loop gave out so easily and I've only had this pair for maybe a month. My sister pointed out there was a rip on my butt and I was embarrassed because I had been out all day and was wondering who else saw it. I was shocked because it's not like I'm dragging my rear on the ground with this jeans and I'm not heavy set. I used to love wrangler. For years I only had lucky brand pants until I discovered wrangler. ALL my jeans are from this brand. This year I've had issues with 3 new pairs I have bought. I'm sad to see the quality go down. This particular pair was gifted so I can't even return it which sucks.

I owned these for maybe a year and the belt loop ripped. I blamed myself and kept wearing them occasionally to my office job. Then after 2 years of owning them the pocket ripped. I expect better from a known brand that charges a lot for cheaply made jeans.

These jeans look great, fit awesome and are a nice wash, BUT, they started developing holes over each of the back pocket corners after less than a month of buying them!! They were only washed a couple of times and worn casually. Super disappointed. Beware these are not the same quality as other Wrangler jeans.

I have bought these jeans twice now. First pair belt loop ripped when I took the tag off.. took them back and got another pair. Second pair same thing! I said okay I can live with this, I'll just sew it. So I pull them up in the front so I wouldn't wreck the belt loop more and the crotch ripped!!! These jeans are garbage. I am so mad. The place I bought them from didn't give me a refund and I think Wrangler should be ashamed of themselves for having such a flimsy piece of crap jean. Done with Wrangler.

So beyond disappointed!! Love these jeans but the belt loop ripped after only wearing them once! Beware if you wanna wear a belt with these pants. Bought when I was out of town so I can't return them.

Bought a pair of these and they didn't even last a month before they ripped on the side of the pocket (they fit loose, so it's not a size issue). Tried to contact customer service and never heard back. My husband had also bought a few of the retro men's jeans and had the same issue. We have older pairs that have lasted years but the quality is no longer there with current styles. It's the last time I buy wranglers.

I had ordered a pair of wrangler jeans which I loved, fit me good but tour down where the pocket is seamed then I sent them back and got another pair when I got the other power they was too small call the company and they said it was the same size Cannot get them to understand I could not wire the jeans that they sent me back they was too small. The ones I sent them back that was torn I could wire, but they told me that that was the same pair would not recommend these jeans to anyone at all

I loved these jeans! I recently lost a lot a lot weight. I've only worn Silver jeans for a good 10 years. I was excited to try something new. I bought 2 pairs of the Retro Mae's. I love the trouser style and fit. I had the same problem as some others. One pair split right along the back pocket. I had no idea until i went to wear them again. I wounder how long i walked around like that. Lol. The other split at the stiching by the zipper. It's unfortunate because these were my favorite and fit the best. I've bought other Wranglers and not had a problem with them. I hope they come out with something new in the same style with a better material.

This is the second pair of these jeans I've bought and had the back pocket rip open. The first time it happened at my job the second time I wore them. I bought a new pair in the next size up, thinking it was a me problem, but turns out it's a Wrangler problem. The second pair was bigger on me and still ripped along the back pocket the first time I wore them. This only happens with the dark wash jeans. Either way, spent close to $150 on two pairs to get 3 wears out of them. Ridiculous.

After wearing them once, the seams on the butt became thin and frayed out, after just the one wear. It happened to two pairs, not just one.

I bought 2 pairs of Women's Retro Mae Mid Rise Wide Leg Trouser Jeans at 2 separate times from 2 different retailers, both pairs ripped out (6-7 inches) along one of the back pockets. Both pairs were worn less than 10 times and not worn for work. I have several other pairs of Wrangler jeans and have never had a problem with any of them. In fact, I have worn them for years until they wear out. So needless to say, I was very disappointed with these.

Initially loved the fit of these jeans and wore them 2-3 times. On the fourth wear the jeans ripped along the back pocket seam! Talk about embarrassing and disappointing! After speaking with a few sales reps and reading others recent reviews this seems to be a common known problem. If this does end up happening to you, make sure you save the jeans to send back otherwise you'll be out of luck and no discount or remedy will be offered by Wrangler. I used to love Wranglers, but will be switching to Ariat until they resolved these issues with craftsmanship and quality.

I bought the first pair in a size 30 and after wearing them for less than an hour they had ripped at the seam by the zipper. After washing them I noticed a belt loop was no longer attached and the were ripped by the seam on both back pockets. I bought another pair a size bigger. I washed them before I even wore them. When I took them out of the dryer they were ripped at the back pocket seams, the seam by the zipper, the seams on the inner thighs and multiple belt loops. It's like the material was dry rotted and they disintegrated in the wash. I have had multiple other pairs of different styles of the wrangler trousers that have lasted through years of wearing, but after paying over $80 for a pair of jeans that couldn't survive a wash cycle I think I'm moving on to another brand.

I do not understand why tall women can not be heavier. Whenever I look at or try on plus sizes or the largest regular sizes, the longest inseam is 34 in. I have a 36 in inseam, and I am a bit heavy, and finding jeans or slacks is nearly impossible without spending half my grocery budget. You would think Wrangler would consider all heavy women; we are not all short.

I love these jeans I've only wore them a few times due to the pockets ripping. I'm having the same issue with other wrangler jeans. So sad because I love this brand of jeans.

Purchased for my birthday, really disappointed, quality is awful. My right belt loop instantly broke, sewed it up, broke again, repeated that 3 times and it's still broke. Then I was shoeing horses and the front foot came up and tapped my thigh, BAM a hole! Quality is very poor, not durable at all. I've only worn literally a handful of times! Will not recommend, will not purchase again! I will stick with Kimes Ranch!
