Based on the reviews I read on this shoe, I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. Just tried them on, and the length is perfect (1/2 size smaller than I normally wear), but the width is very narrow. I ordered a 9D (normally wear a 9.5D). As noted above, the length was exactly right, but the shoes are very narrow. Will be returning them.

I just received these shoes yesterday, and wore them for the first time today. I am only commenting about the sizing because it is very odd. The shoes are very long and narrow. After reading about this in other reviews, I decided to go to the Adidas website and follow their sizing chart. I measured my foot (10") and ordered a size 8 according to the chart. It fits very well, maybe a tiny bit long, but I prefer having a little extra room in the toe area. I normally wear a size 8/12 US in about everything, and I have had 5/10s before that were actually a little short in my size, so these shoes being so long was a surprise. Bottom line, go to the Adidas website, measure your foot, and follow their sizing chart.

Nice colour and comfortable, can feel the difference wearing these on the bike rather than old running shoes which I was wearing

Light weight with a strong sole. Better grip in the toe area than my other 5 10s.

I have had the waterproof version of the Five Ten Trailcross Mid shoe for a few years, and decided to get the low-top version for summer. I've been wearing Freeriders for many years, but it seems like the toebox has gotten narrower in recent years and even when I go up a half size they are still unpleasantly tight. The Trailcrosss seems to have a roomier toe box area while still fitting my narrow heels well. I normally wear a women's size 8 but I decided to get these in men's 6.5 in the hopes they'd be a bit wider. They fit me perfectly. I wish other styles of Five Tens were offered with a wider toe box.

Great shoe with lots of ventilation and grip that ensures I stay on the pedals. Also not heavy and boxy.

The shoes fit true to size and looks great. I've had a couple MTB rides in them and they really stick to the pedals. I mainly ride XC and single track terrain.

Usual 5:10 quality, grippy sole and comfortable upper. Less rigid sole than some other models making it better off the bike.

I have ridden in the PNW nearly every weekend over the last year in these and they are fantastic. Still firm like I want them and have no tears or holes. These shoes breathe incredibly well too on hotter days. Feet feel locked in place on the pedals regardless of a big jump or the classic PNW gnar.

Perfect. Exceeded expectations. Solid construction - really impressed with the build quality 5/5- no notes . Great fit ( maybe one or two rides for break in). grippy with a wonderful no flex sole. Wish I had bought theses a long time ago. If you do a lot of clipless cycling, do not hesitate to purchase. Personal note: I was having Achilles and foot pain issues that was limiting my riding before getting these shoes. Now I feel great.
