Don't be fooled by the lightweight texture of this windbreaker. It's very durable when it seems like even the smallest thorn would rip it to shreds. This is the lightest jacket i've ever owned and it's extremely packable.
I usually take this out on a windy day or in the light rain where it's not cold or rainy enough to throw my gore-tex on. Before i owned this i'd end up taking a sweater out or a heavier jacket to block the wind but this does an even better job. Even in the windiest conditions i'm still kept warm. I bought this to battle wind mostly or to layer it under a fleece (which works very well when it's cold) but it sheds water pretty well too! So i find myself taking it when i go kayaking also. Great alternative to something heavier in the hotter months.
In my opinion it fits true to size. I'm 6'2 175 lbs and i bought a medium which fits perfect. Love the colours too.

However, I like my 3 Squamish' that are pullovers. Why did you all 86 the pullovers, they were awesome. You could even add green and a few other colors and add like a billion dollars more in revenue.

This is the thinnest hoody/jacket I've ever owned, it feels even thinner than my cotton Ts. But its also very versatile and looks like it can handle some light bumps and scuffs. I think the key selling point of this jacket is its thinness/lightness because it works well as a windbreaker/rainwear while running/hiking but light and comfortable enough that you can also wear it casually. I've been wearing this hoody almost every day since I got it! Love it! :D

I'm sure I will find the performance up to the usual Arc'teryx standards, but I wanted to use this review to say thanks for making this in an X-Small. I'm scrawny, at 5-10 and 140 or less, with arms on the short side, and the Atom LT is the only Arc Small that I feel really fits me. I came across the Squamish in an XS and it fits perfectly. I like all my Arc gear, but I'm really going to like having one that fits to a T. Arc clothing is not oversized, but neither does it typically fit someone as small as I am (in contrast to a Mountain Hardwear Small). I know there are a few items available in XS, but perhaps there's a market for even more.

Perfekt um es immer dabei zu haben. Kurzfristig ersetzt es sogar eine Regenjacke...

I have had this current model of Squamish for over a year at this point and am definetely not disappointed with the made changes. The fit is really comfortable while allowing light layers. I've mainly used this in conjunction with proton fl jacket which creates a very versatile combination.
The earlier version (before 2018) was perhaps slightly more breathable as I used it also for trail running. I gifted my earlier squamish to my friend who uses it for variety of activities and the jacket still does not show any signs of wear and tear.
I am expecting this newer version to last even longer due to at least seemingly strudier fabric.

I love how this jacket suits my need so a light layer to warm up in for a climb. The thing but resistant material is amazing. My main piece of feedback would be the chest pocket needs to be about 2-4cm taller to accommodate a phone with a case on

I bought this jacket in small two years ago and love it. Great for warm days in the mountains with summer breeze.
I have been wanting to buy size medium to be able to layer it, but waiting two years for Arcteryx to come up with some better/stronger colours. Still waiting..

I'm 178cm 74kg, tried size medium and large and finally bought a large size. Everything is good and fit perfectly except for chest, it's too tight in the chest and armhole. Even size large is too long in length but I feel comfortable in chest. Moreover, hopefully there would be extra pockets on side.

Well, I just returned a Zeta SL due to size issue and bought a Squamish at your Outlet Site. I ordered the Ladon color so it will match the color
Of my Konseal shoes, but I think I received a Labyrinth color, it say Ladon on the tag but I don't think so. Very disappointed for the second time. But, I will keep it. Should have stick with my thoughts of not buying from the Outlet site.
Still love Arc'teryx tho!

Good little windbreaker. Lightweight, inexpensive, stuffs in its own pocket. Unfortunately also retains sweat smell VERY quickly and doesn't breathe quite as well as I'd hoped.
The fit is somewhat accurate although sleeves are unusually long; longer than other Arc'teryx jackets I have in same size.

This is a comfortable wind shell that offers some protection against wind but is still breathable.
I wore it on the Grand Teton and Cirque Traverse this summer and while it did help with wind, it was not nearly as effective as my Arc'teryx Beta SL Gore-tex shell which was much more comfortable (and something I'd carry anyway for emergencies).
This packs up really small which is an advantage, but I really only see myself using it in situations where I wouldn't bring my hardshell.
The yellow color is great, but it did get dirty after a few months.

Been using this as a wind jacket and it is great for wind, considering how light and thin it is to carry around. Little bit of drizzle was also okay but I got stuck in the woods in rain once for almost an hour and it performed terrible making water go inside the jacket. Did not check the rain mm capability so my bad. Other than that, I love this jacket and the nice color.

If you think of this as a hooded sweatshirt (minus the pouch) then you might not be disappointed with this. I'm still getting familiar with the Squamish hoody but my biggest issue is the lack of side pockets. The chest pocket isn't too deep but my iPhone 12pro fits in there with no issue. Love the reflective logo on the chest. Love the lightweight packability. Hate that there are no side pockets. I would suggest sizing up if you want to wear layers under this. Otherwise tts is ideal.

I typically take any size medium Arcteryx clothing item and it fits my tall slim frame perfectly. That said, the "trim fitting" medium Squamish hoodie fits me snug to the body - especially in the arms - though it was not restrictive with movement. Heavier folks should probably take a size up. I would be inclined to wear it over thinner layers. Otherwise, it's exactly what I was looking for in a light/packable windbreaker.

Love the jacket but wish you could took the hood away, I feel like it doesn't look good when the jacket is unzipped because of the way the hood falls, but other than that I love it, wind resistance is really good in light wind conditions and is rain resistant in light showers, very light and comfortable, perfect fit too.

I have purchased 2 squamish hoodies in the last several years, They are a very good hiking jacket very good wind breaker and if it's a light rain or damp conditions they should keep you fairly dry. If I were to improve 2 things about them I would put side pockets as each one of them does not have side pockets, Also I would make them just a little bit bigger as to allow a fleece or a sweatshirt or Henley on a colder day

Very light wind breaker that can be stowed away in a purse. My husband purchased this for me. Typical Arc'teryx quality. The sleeves have a velcro adjustment straps. The hood and waist have elastic pull cord adjustment. The only surprising thing was that the jacket does not have side hand pockets.

I ordered this jacket as a lightweight hiking and around town windbreaker when I didn't need something waterproof (it is not even particularly water-resistant as I recently got caught off guard in a downpour in it!). For what it is though, it is great, all that I would expect from an Arc'teryx jacket. I was kind of surprised though when the Dawn color I ordered came, though. Based on the website, I thought it would be a more yellow color, but when it came it was much more light orange. Nice color, just not accurately represented, at least on my computer.

Excellent breathability under exertion. Water resistant but not water proof (likely why it breathes so well). Doesn't fee super durable so I treat it gently and with care, so I haven't tested Arc'teryx's claim for durability. It does wad up very small and shakes out time and again, so durability hold up there.
Zipper slips down when jacket collar is pulled on. Common problem with Arc'teryx jackets. Not a big deal but a minor gripe, especially when moving fast in windy conditions and it gaps open.
Paired with a vest, this shell is an excellent climbing, hiking, and running combo on chilly days.
