IT FEELS LIKE A WORK BOOT

So far so good I've had them since March and wear them everyday they still look great they give me some height also and feel pretty good for the long work days here in the warehouse

I have Bates GX-8 Gortex insulated boots and have worn them now for 3 years. I do commercial roofing for a living and 3 years out of a pair of boots is very impressive. The other day I caught my foot on some steel and separated the toe area of the sole from the boot. I was not able to order the same boot and ordered these do to availability. Ordered on a Friday and delivered on Sunday, because Zappos is the best!!! Took a little longer break in period and few mew pressure points to work out of. But now they are as comfortable as the original pair . Other than the composite toe, I’m happy with these boots and will be ordering the the soft toe, gortex insulated boots as soon as Zappos gets them in stock.

I order same size on my first order but that one feels a little too big and on this one feels perfect just a little too narrow on the wide but maybe it's the brand I still like both the first one was reebok and the ones I just got are Bates

I would say for the extra money these maybe aren't worth it, I can't zip them up all the way because they're too tight, they are great in snow and rain though. I just wear them half zipped. They are a bit tight at first but they break in and loosen up. For the money I'd just go with the tactical sport 2 instead.

Style is ok looking. Wish they would've been a little lighter and wish the tread didn't wear out so fast. The sole is on the softer side but still think they would've been better if the soles lasted longer than they did. They were waterproof though until the tread started wearing out.

I have worn these boots for 2 weeks and are well broken in. The area where the plastic lace loop, the tongue, zipper lining and leather splits for ankle bend has made the top of my feet hurt on 3-4 occasions. The inside edge of composite toe has rubbed my toe raw. I absolutely love my GX-8 Gore-Tex boots. After 1 day those boots were like a good sneaker or shoe to wear. I really wanted to like these boots,at least until I could get another pair of GX-8 GORE-TEX. After 2 weeks with sore and blistered toes. Feeling like the tops of my feet were hit with a hammer during the day. I definitely can’t say I like these boots.

They're very warm and water proof. The lining makes them tight and sweaty to wear. Great for winter though. They run narrow. I recommend Bates Tactical Sport 2 instead. Once broken in they're my favorite boots I've ever had.

Very narrow and size runs small. Inner padding is too thin.

The size is not feet for me may be if it feet it may like it

Nice looking, great material, and solid shoe. But it's not a 4e, extra wide shoe. Much more narrow than advertised.

They pinched my front of foot as im an a 4 e width largest width made but looks and feels like the narrowest width I've ever felt. Pinched big toe's and different size socks did not make a difference. Could'nt endure the pain to break in.
