Customer Reviews adidas Comfort Flip-Flop

I've had Adidas shoes before and I had good experiences before with their quality. However, I've purchased these flip flops in the end of July, and by November, one broke (see picture). I contacted customer service in Nov, and was asked to submit pictures. After that, I did not hear back. I sent an email to follow up in Dec., no response. I sent another email in Jan., still no response. I called, and was told I would get a response. I received an email later, and you can read that below. I don't agree with what they claimed, that the "reasonable product life" was only 4 months, or that it was normal wear and tear, or it was due to negligence/misuse. I called again and was told that all decisions were final. So Adidas feels that flip flops lasting only 4 months on occasional wear is not an issue. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 175 lbs. I don't think I am putting excessive stress on these flip flops. I've certainly had flip flops that lasted more than 1-2 years. In my opinion, either the glue/epoxy was not strong enough or the design is flawed.

It’s a pair of flip flops so I’m not running distance in them. :) They look great and see as comfy as I’ve ever had. I recommend!
