The GT-1000 9 have been my favorite shoe to date. Fits my narrow foot well and has great cushion. The only cons I have found are they don’t last very long for the price. I had 2 pairs of this shoe to alternate wearing, both were done before a year. I used them as a work/everyday shoe, not to run in so I cannot review them as a running shoe. My right toe poked a hole in the fabric underneath the mesh top layer. Ultimately this layer giver great breathability but not very durable. Also the bottom tread wore at the usual striking places fairly quickly, maybe 6 months time. Even with this all said, this is my third purchase of this shoe because I love it and a sale price makes up for the cons. I’m a little afraid to try the newest version because shoe companies tend to tweak things, and you are left disappointed. I wear an 8 in these, if I were to run in them I might size up to an 8.5 for proper toe room.

Love these shoes. On my feet 10 hours a day for work. They have wonderful support.

One of my feet is longer than the other. While my right foot loved the support from the shoe (I did add my own insole),my left foot was left unbalanced,and by the end of my 2 hour sweat session at the gym,the left side of my hip was hurting. I really wanted these to work because they are supportive,but at the end of the day, my hips wern't happy.

I have had this Asics shoe before and really like the support. I am an overpronator so support is key. This pair met my expectations. It's very comfortable and had great support.

These are my everyday shoes and I love them. Wish they would make more like these. If they did I would buy them.

Love these shoes! I tried 8 different pairs (thank goodness for Zappos free returns) and this was the winner. I use them for running, lifting weights and circuit training and was so happy they work for all three. Great support but not too stiff and I was able to wear them right away without any break-in. I have a mild pronation that was causing problems in my ankles/legs, but these have corrected those issues. I have a narrow heel and these shoes run narrow so I get zero slippage during running, cardio moves, mountain climbers, etc. One of the things I love best about these is the ankle support. I have lower ankle bones so hard to find shoes with good ankle support that don't rub on my ankle bone. These fit the bill perfectly and hug my ankles really nicely. I've notices a lot less soreness the days following workouts since I've been wearing these consistently.
