Customer Reviews New Balance Kids KC996v4 Tennis (Little Kid/Big Kid)

After trying on 10 pairs of shoes, these shoes came out ON TOP for comfort and foot support. My daughter is an athlete and cares about how shoes support her body, and she LOVED these for those reasons. Although my daughter ogled over these shoes out of the box and really wanted an "all white" tennis shoe, because they are truly designed for tennis, the base of this shoe is wide at the ball of the foot.

My daughters feet are on the wide side and these fit great. She can run and jump and move well in them. The yellow ones get dirty easily, but that is expected.

Color is more neon in person than a bright pink. I ended up returning the shoes.

These fit my son perfectly. The yellow color was quite a bit brig yet in person, but that actually was more of what he wanted!

These tennis shoes are great for my 5 year old. She likes that they don't feel like they are "squeezing" her feet... why I bought a wide. The pink pair is bright neon so beware if this isn't what you are looking for. However, we went to Disney World and I was able to keep track of her everywhere we went! Easy to spot!

My 7 year old daughter loved the look but there is moderate support at the heel that "squeezed" her heel and that was uncomfortable to her. This may be her own preference so don't let that change your mind. The shoe is very cute and really light in weight. It came with 2 different color strings. I tried every way to get her to keep them.

Those are tennis shoes and they are “marking Shoes”. My son used them for one minute and realized that they mark the court.

Everything about the shoe was good except for the sole. My daughter has been using it for about a month and the left front sole is flat already, no traction, no ridges. The rubber is must be soft to wear our that fast.
