I recently had foot surgery and these shoes are extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. Even after surgery I am able to slightly jog in these sneakers as opposed to other brands I tried that often hurt my feet.

This shoe is comfortable for short errands and long walks. The sole is cushy. It's well made and stylish. I do size up from my regular shoes when I buy ASICS and I've always had a consistent fit. I normally wear 9.5-10 in womens shoes. I buy size 11 women and size 9.5 men in ASICS. My first pair of ASICS where hand-me-downs from my son and the size was perfect. I've used that as a guideline since and it's served me well.

I really love the Asics Gel-Contend model. I started with Gel-Contend 4s several years ago, and now I'm wearing 6s. They fit me really well, and the amount of cushioning is just right for me.

Very comfortable and durable. I do 7.5 miles a day on the treadmill and so far these have shown zero signs of wear. My feet are still comfortable the rest of the day.

Like that it doesn't squash my toes, padding at heels helps shoe from slipping, excellent support when walking
