I would never buy again and never recommend! Absolutely no arch support. Very disappointed!!!

I already reviewed the 9 Wide of this shoe (I bought the 9 Regular and 9 Wide to compare) and the best thing I can say about this is that the Rose Gold colorway is very pretty. But that's about it. It's a very mediocre shoe with okay/fair padding, but NO ARCH SUPPORT. And it runs a half size SHORT in length. It's okay for short walks (under 5 miles) but if you plan to run or cover great distance, I think you'll be disappointed with this shoe in the end.

I've worn these about 6ntimes and my legs and feet ache terribly. The style I love was out of stock so I tried these. Not my best choice.

These were extremely hot to wear; it felt like my feet were boiling. I also thought the toe box should have been wider.

They were comfortable right out of the box, I have worn this style asics before and love the comfort and fit.

Shoes fit great! Like the style. Very comfortable and light.

I am a size 7 and sometimes I need 7 1/2 in sneakers. This fit me perfectly in size 7. They are so comfortable.

I am a size 9, I have been fit for Asics in person and had a pair of 9.5’s however this shoe is true to size. I ordered a 9.5 it’s too loose so ended up ordering a second color in 9 because the shoe is so comfortable! Order true to size, highly recommend walking running, trail hiking, lifting

These shoes exceeded my expectations. I had the version before these and I didn’t think they could get any better. There is more room in the toes. The fabric has more stretch to it than before. My shoes were so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them.

I LOVE ASICS shoes. Their size 8 is always a perfect fit for me. Very comfortable with great arch support. Also, I have a narrow foot and they do not feel big or too wide at all. I bought these as I wanted a grey shoe to hide some of the dirt. I walk between 4-5 miles each day and they are fantastic.

I ordered 3 pairs of Asics and ultimately choose the Contend 6. The other 2 I tried were the Venture 7 and the Excite 7. I found the Venture 7 too stiff and rigid, almost more like a hiking shoe. The toe box was also very wide. The Excite 7 was the opposite, not enough support and a very narrow toe box. I love the Contend 6. They are stylish, I bought the pale pink/mauve color. The fit is great. There is just the right amount of support to prevent my supination. The toe box is roomy enough and soft. I've worn them for several walks and am so happy that I've found the perfect shoe. I'm thinking about buying them in a different color as the price is so good. Thanks Zappos!!!!

I always wear a size larger in ASICS... always have and have been wearing ASICS for 39 years... I like the toe guard that are on some ASICS but hard to find anymore. My toe seems to come up through shoe after several months . That’s my only complaint but I walk 5 miles everyday...

I wear a size 9 US or Euro 40, and I ordered a 9 and a 9.5 US due to other reviews. The 9.5 was the right size for me. I'm buying these because my Sketchers GoWalks are falling apart and look so bad I feel embarrassed wearing them in public. (Well, I did until the pandemic.) Anyway, I finally decided I need a new pair of shoes because the Sketchers were providing enough support for my walks. I went through some other Sketchers and some Pumas before finally getting these. I have to admit they are very, very comfortable. The Sketchers GoWalks were also comfortable but don't match with many of my clothes. I like that these fit snugly, but not too tight. I think they will provide good support in the sole -- I can't speak to running because I don't run anymore. I also agree with the other reviews that they don't have much in the way of true arch support. I mean, the inside of the shoe actually kind of collapses a bit. I wouldn't say they have zero arch support, but it's pretty weak. I have fairly strong arches and I break in shoes on the outside of my feet so that won't be a problem for me. I did try to search for "excellent arch support" on the Zappos website but I wasn't very successful. Just decided to get these and find out. I suspect a more expensive pair of Asics would have better arch support, but these were the right price for me. I got the white/champagne color, but I may return them for that blue steel/coral color so I don't look like an orderly. :)

Great support, so comfortable, I love these running shoes (and I run). I always order 1/2 size up in ASICS, and this is true for this pair as well. The lavender color is pretty bright - I don’t love the color.

These are a great fit. I run around the hospital all day and these sneakers are perfect, and super comfortable.

Followed other reviews' advice, and ordered 1/2 size larger. Glad I did - perfect fit. Love the look, feel and am very pleased! Love the "sheet rock" color!

These are INCREDIBLE shoes! Comfortable from the moment I put them on. It's hard for me to find comfortable AND stylish shoes. These are the BOMB!!

I love those. ASICS always work well for me, Very comfortable. I feel as though I am walking on air.

I love these shoes. Bought one pair, liked them so much I got another for my birthday. And I'm still debating getting a third because it is really hard for me to find shoes I love due to my high arch that is in an odd spot. I use them mainly for daily use and light to moderate hiking. About the shoe itself. It fits well. Snug around the top and not slipping around, but not suffocating your foot. They have padding in them and are supportive - in the months before I bought these shoes I had sprained my ankle and if I wear any shoes but these it hurts. When I wear these my ankle doesn't hurt. They are light enough in weight that I don't mind wearing them and I prefer lighter shoes that don't feel clunky. They have enough holes for breath-ability that on windy days you can feel it a bit, but not a lot so your feet still stay warm. They do get a bit toasty when doing moderate hiking on a sunny day, but I've yet to find a sneaker that doesn't. So, all that said, I really like these shoes. They are a great fit for me and I would recommend them to people with feet like mine.

I am SO happy with both pairs of these shoes. I am on my feet all day at work,and they have support where I need it. I will be ordering another pair.

These were comfortable from the very first. Nice and roomy across the ball of the foot and toes, and just right in the heel. Very important to me as my right foot is recovering from my having broken my ankle. Plus I love the color--looks good (but not wild) with everything I wear.

Most comfortable shoes I've worn in decades! Having arthritis in my feet it's been frustrating and expensive finding comfortable shoes until ASICS GEL-Contend 6. The foam padding in these shoes is amazing. Unlike 'memory foam' and other padding the padding in this shoe actually rebounds with every step. Arch support is perfect. Padded collar around the heel is snug and comfortable. I will definitely be purchasing more ASICS with this padding.

I'm typically a 9-9.5 in tennis shoes, and decided to go with the 9.5 in these. They fit perfectly! I needed some comfortable tennis shoes since I temporarily have to work in the warehouse for 8-9 hours at my job. I usually have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and don't make my heel/arch hurt at the end of the day. These did not disappoint!! SO glad I bought them, and it's even better that I was able to get them at a great price!

Hi, I wear a 8 wide and have a very high in-step (high arch). It's impossible to buy shoes and not have my feet hurt. In sneakers and boots I buy a 8.5 wide, but in this sneaker, my big toe almost touched the tip of the shoe, so I Returned them and re-order a 9. They fit good, comfy. I would say a bit too long for me, but I am keeping them, they don't cause a problem walking or tripping, and right now, I don't feel any slipping in the heal.
