This was supposed to replace a pair of Asics Gel Court Speed shoes. The Gel-Resolution 8's are horrible compared to my (old) Gel-Court Speeds. The uppers on the Gel-Resolution are plastic/vinyl. They DO NOT breathe. It's hard to see this if you magnify the pics but the shoe upper is solid rubber/vinyl. The solid rubber/vinyl upper also makes the shoe slightly inflexible. And the shoes fits too tightly around the upper instep.

Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes. They look very good, but something changed on the ASICS Resolution, they are not the same. I had a Resolution 7 and we’re always extremely comfortable. I cannot say the same with the Resolution 8. I had to return them.

I normally wear a size 9 and this shoe felt smaller and narrower than my other Asics. While I love the color it seems like the whole shoe is rubberized so it doesnt breath at all.

I'm glad I ordered the wider width because it was a little snug. I returned them because they pitched my ankles inward. I knew this would be an easy way to sprain or break an ankle. Not for me!

These are like big puffy rectangles, not shaped like a foot.

Fit as expected (always between 8.5 and 9 and 9 worked fine) and liked the style however with when flexed at the toe it bends stangely. It wasn't all the time but some. Almost like it is stiff and then bends all at once. Hard to explain but had to return. Suspect it is not rubber or plastic type material at on the top of the shoes.

This shoe was very long and made my foot look very long also. The color was pretty and I thought the style looked cute in the photo but I felt like I had clown feet. Definitely a different fit than any of the other asics I’ve worn.

I have worn Asics shoes for years and this is the first time, I've had a problem with comfort and fit. The edge of the shoe gave me a blister on the inside of my ankle bone, I kept adjusting the tongue on the shoe because it was uncomfortable. I finally changed the shoes to my old pair of Asics and I noticed that the tongue on this shoe is much thinner than my previous pair of Asics which is probably why I got a blister. I would not recommend this series of the shoe.

Freakishly long. I wear an 8 in Asics running shoes but even the 7 1/2 in this shoe was an inch too long. I am a regular width in Asics running shoes but even the wide in the tennis shoe was too narrow.

This is a follow up to a prior review. The shoe is marked as medium but is definitely a narrow. I carry a narrow and since all reviews said it was a narrow so I decided to order them. The toe box was comfortable as was the arch support area. The left shoe was perfect all the way round. The right shoe was too loose in the heel. I wore them in the house for a few hours and the heel was already becoming looser. If not for that I would have kept these shoes. I have been ordering ASICS for years and this is the first time I have ever had a problem with fit. ASICS is always my go to shoe for comfort and fit. Shoes looks nice, however when try them on feels tight and I stop wearing them

Shoe was too tight over the instep but it isn't the shoe's fault. I really need to buy Wides, but rarely are they offered in size 4 1/2.

The sizing was terrible. I ordered a half size larger so it would be wide enough but then it was so long.

Very disappointed. I have wider than normal feet, but not as wide as WIDE. Still I ordered Wide and a half size up (based on reviews), and I still could not fit my foot into this sneaker. Also, the upper is very hard and inflexible. It would be very uncomfortable for tennis.

I have a slightly wide foot, narrower than wide but wider than standard. Based on the reviews, I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear, and in wide. I could barely get the shoe on my the smaller of my two feet. The upper is very inflexible and the shoe itself is cramped. I can't imagine how cramped the standard width feels to the average person. These shoes are torture. Very disappointed in Asics, usually such an accommodating and durable brand, not to mention easy to wear.

Had to return it has 2 little straps across the top in the lace area that are not adjustable at all and I couldn't even get my foot all the way into the shoe. I guess I have a large top of my foot but I could not make these work for me.

I like that these were very narrow, but the upper--other than the tongue- was made almost entirely of plastic. These felt and looked like they should be sold at the dollar store! I've never seen an adult shoe made of plastic.

I typically love this shoe but this was way too narrow for my foot. I don't remember this style being so narrow (?).

This shoe is not wide at all.

They are not comfortable.
