I've been wearing these at least five days a week for a couple of months on indoor and outdoor courts. These are my first pair of Asics (previously wore Nike Vapor X) and I am SO happy I made the change! I experienced a brief break-in period, but they are perfectly formed to my feet and I can play in them for many hours at a time without any foot pain. The quality is incomparable to my previous Nikes - by now, the soles would be worn out and I'd have holes in the toes, even when sizing up! Speaking of sizing, I went with my normal size 9, and they fit great.
Took one star off for those random orange straps. I had to cut them off, ugh. I was worried that I was removing function, but the shoes have worked just fine without them! If they are indeed needed, please make them a more complimentary color in the future - like black or dark blue.
Without the orange straps, I get a lot of compliments on the style. Please make more women's shoes in black or dark colors - I would love to buy another pair, but just can't deal with the neon colors and/or white soles!

This is a beautiful and well made shoe. Although it's too tight on my instep. I have to return it. Sad! In general, Asics shoes are not friendly on wider feet. I hope Asics can make wide version for all your tennis shoes. Thank you.

This has a more narrow toe box than last couple pairs of these I’ve purchased.

The customer service and shipping was great. I wouldn't consider myself to have wide feet but my right shoe is extremely tight. Obviously I'm buying a woman's size 12 so there is no the petite about my foot but I've never had this problem in an athletic shoe before. It's very uncomfortable to play in. My left shoe fits normally. This is my second pair and this is my second time with the issue. After about 3 months of weekly wear the shoes break in and are tolerable if you can get through the numbing squeeze until that point. My first pair lasted about a year, no holes, but just lost the structure. I play 3/4x a week. I bought a different model of asic in a men's shoe and they are bordering on too loose. I have to wear a thick sock to not slide around in them. Hope this helps!

These shoes are not wide in the toe box. Not sure why it's so difficult to find wide women's tennis shoes. These are marked D width but they are not wide.

I also have the solution speeds which I prefer over the resolution 8. The outer shell of this is like silicone for support but does require some breaking in.

This show was a half size too big - unusual since every other shoe I've bought has been perfectly sized.

The shoe is great quality and I was hopeful but it was way too narrow even though I ordered a Wide width.

I rarely have issues with shoes being too narrow. The toe box on these shoes was too small.

Nice and firm on tennis court however left me with several blisters. Quite stiff. Not as 'wide' as other wide Asics shoes.

Striped band is elastic which cramped my foot immediately upon putting on the shoe.

Even though this is still my favorite tennis shoe, it has its flaws. First, the pros: The Resolution 8 has good cushioning and great stability; given how solid it is, it is fairly lightweight and great for an all-court player like me. Now the cons. The last couple models of the Resolution have been disappointing. The shoe used to be perfect for me, but then the 6 and 7 were too stiff. The Resolution 8 has a weird plastic-like upper which I thought would crack when I started wearing them. They haven't cracked, but they're too hot. And the new innovative lacing system came unstitched in mine and I had to replace them. Overall, I still can't find a better shoe in terms of the combination of stability, cushion, and weight, but I really hope the materials and workmanship on the next model are different, and I'm only using this model because I can't find something better.

These are definitely not like the old ASICS Gel Resolution 6 and 7. The whole top of the shoe is like plastic. The old ones were a breathable fabric. These did go right on and we're comfortable. And, as usual, I didn't need to break them in. I went right out and played in a 4 hour tournament. So they're still comfortable, but your feet sweat a lot more as there is a whole lot more plastic!

Gorgeous shoe that I really wanted to love. But way too tight across top of foot was cutting of my circulation!

They fit so weird - your normal size will be way too big and the 0.5 size down will still be weird it's like all the shoe is up front and it doesn't bend in thr right spot

Overall they are fine, but they bow wide, which isn't very supportive. And there's a fixed strap where the laces are, which I cut out because it decreases the flexibility of the laces.

This doesn't have the support like their running shoes. The toe box is on the narrow side. I bought my online and was too lazy to return it.

First of all, I have bought many ASICS athletic shoes and I have *always* been a consistent size 7.5 medium, so that is what I bought. I could barely get these on my feet! They run VERY small. Not sure if this is a fluke or this particular style. I plan to order a size up to confirm. Also, the gradient color of the shoes goes from deep red to almost a fluorescent orange - much darker than the description indicates.

Shoe looks great and has good suppport but the toe bed is very narrow which causes my toes to fall asleep. Previous reviews warned of the narrow toe bed but I have narrow feet so thought they'd be OK.
Obviously didn't know my toes were going to fall asleep til I was on the tennis court so I'm hoping they stretch out a bit.
