The manufacturer is just not consistent with size. I tried two pairs, one with US10, CM26.5, and EURO42. The other US10, CM28, EURO44. While EURO43 is my true size, I forgive you this time because I can't wait to play on the court. The shoe industry is really messed up with the sizes, women/men, British/US/EURO/China sizes do not translate. So I would like to launch the #ONLYINCM movement, hope whoever sees this is with me.

Nice overall style but too rigid and not very breathable. Good support.

So far I am very happy. I normally only wear running shoes so it's a little hard to get used to heavier shoes. I wish they had more ventalation. They seem hot.

Resolution 8 seemed to lack arch support and that glove like fit. The shoes did provide a fair amount of cushion.

Almost perfect. Comfortable, supportive, GOOD TREAD life but some small things needed.
The top rubber coating crinkles when you start to run. It's a bit annoying. It gets better with time but still, there can be something to fix it.
The runners loop lacing seems to cut into the front of my ankles a bit. I stopped using it and opted for "regular laces not utilizing the top back hole. This way I feel less locked in but at least no cutting .
I like these better than my 2019 barricades (too clunky, stiff and heavy) and my KSwiss Hypershots (lighter faster but less supportive and much less tread).
I am very happy overall amd would be perfectly content if these two items were somehow fixed.

Nice shoe.the heel cushion tends to wear out and rip before anything else. I love the feel of the shoes and the sense of protection it offers to move around the tennis court. I just wish the mesh and fabric backing the heel was a little stronger and more durable. Other than that the shoe is great.

Great Shoe. The 2E width is not quite as wide as I would like.

Comfortable shoes with good support. Just have to see how they do over time now

This shoe is like a fortress on your feet, but the rubberized exterior material causes an annoying buckling/folding on the top side of the shoe with each step or split step on the court. Sometimes its even audible. A more flexible material would have been preferred.

Lots of support. Slightly heavier shoe. Runs a half size or so big. Unsure if you should actually get a half size down though, especially if you have slightly wider feet, as the tip of the shoe is narrow and extends long.

The shoes were kind of tight at first, but after a couple of "wears" they fit fine. Great grip on the outdoors court.

An alternative to New Balance for wide tennis shoes. For me, fit well and comfortable, first time out. More support, more athletic feel, and better court movement than my prior New Balance 696 shoes.

Received the shoes and couldn't even get my foot into the shoes. I ordered a wide and these were much narrower than mediums. Returned immediately.

The shoe is stylish and comfortable. The construction is sturdy and durable. I would buy these again and recommend them for those looking for a good tennis shoe.

The shoes itself has good cushion. But it's still narrow for my feet. I had Brooks glycerin wide that was wide enough for me.

Pretty Decent Shoe. A Tad Heavy For Running But Durable Enough To Keep It's Look After Handling Daily Workouts.

I play tennis four days a week and have been wearing GEL-Resolution 8s exclusively for over two years. My feet are narrow with high arches, size 13. Play style is aggressive and I often jump serve. These shoes support my feet with no additional orthotics.
The GEL-Resolution 8s are very stable and well cushioned from heel to toe. My only complaint is since I have a narrow foot I have to use the extra set of holes to lace up my shoes and this causes some pinching with the tongue on top of my foot. I would like to see ASICS go to a botty style shoe like the New Balance LAV and do away with the tongue.

Great shoe for those with a wide foot. Short break in period. Do not like the thin laces.

I bought the 7th gen and thought I couldn't go wrong with the 8th. I wore them a couple of times around the house and they felt a little snug but still comfortable. I think I made the mistake of wearing them for a longer time than usual for the first "real" activity. I played pickleball for 2.5 hours and my little toe on the right foot got a blister. With that in mind, I will try again but only for not so long until a couple of more pickleball sessions. They did grip very well and stayed with me with every move! They did feel better and lighter then the 7 as well.

Other than the too short laces the shoe is good. Don't expect Asics Customer Service to help you. But, Zappos Customer Service is GREAT.

I ordered this pair in a double W size expecting that they would be as wide as other pairs of shoes ordered before. They were not. Still looking for a court shoe that is wide enough.

Gel Res 8 arch strap needs reconfiguration. Either remove or sew into shoe. Strap is uncomfortable and sometimes "bunches" and rubs on small toe area. Otherwise the shoe is great and have used for Gel Res series for years.

The fit seemed a bit narrow, and there were initial pinch points from the top of the tongue being pretty thick under the sides. After about a week of daily pickleball this relaxed and the shoes became very comfortable. I was most interested in heel cushion and support, as I quickly wear out heels. So far so good, and definitely better than my old New Balance court shoes.

Overall I liked this pair of shoes, but there strap on the top of my foot seemed a little too tight but it eventually eased up and gave me a good fit.
