We have been ordering this style of shoes for my grandson for a couple of years now. He loves them and it is nice to be able to keep him in something he likes.

My son is very active and wears through his shoes quickly. This shoe is one of the few that can withstand the (figurative) beating he gives his shoes until he is close enough to the next size. I love the velcro/bungee combo, so his laces aren't constantly coming undone and shoes falling off.

The New Balance shoe size measuring tool and size chart was very helpful on this purchase.

They are cozy, fit well, and look great! The blue color is a great for Spring and Summer.

My son has worn this model for the past year and we all love it! He has wide feet so having that option is great. He says these make him super fast

Colors are as shown. The velcro adds a little extra security. My 3 year old can put these on and take them off on his own. He loves them and wants to wear them which is a plus for me!

Bought the blue/gray. 5 year old son loves them. They're easy for him to put on himself. Perfect for school.

This is our second pair in this style and still love them. The wide option was helpful as well as the velcro closure. Comfortable with a cushy, durable sole.

I got these for my son because they came in wide. He likes them and says they are comfortable, except that the tongue seems to slip to the side a lot and he has to adjust it back.

I followed the sizing guide on line for my 3 & 7 year old boys. These are true to size and are a regular/medium width. My boys measured at a 10.5 and a 2.5 on the sizing guide. These are the sizes I ordered. The shoe fit correctly but didn't leave much room for summer growth. With kids growing so quickly, I sized up a .5 which left about a thumbnail space. These are bright, colorful and durable! I always feel confident ordering from NB!

My son needs a Velcro(R) closure shoe and in Extra Wide width. This is one shoe that works for him. He likes the style and can wear them all day without any issues of discomfort. The only minor detail keeping this from being a 5-star rating is that for an Extra Wide shoe, it is still a little snug and takes some help to get them on his feet. Other than that, this is our go-to shoe. It is durable, affordable, and most importantly gets my sons stamp of approval.

I think the shoes are great and well made. I do not know why my son doesn't like to wear them. He chooses his winter boots over them even though it isn't cold out any more.
