Customer Reviews New Balance Kids Fresh Foam Tempo (Little Kid)

My daughter always loves the way New Balance shoes fit, so we were pretty sure these would be perfect when we ordered them and we were right. They have a lot of support and are fit well. She also loves that they have laces so that she can tighten them. It is getting harder and harder for her to find shoes without velcro. I would definitley purchase these again.

Very cute, good arch, worst shoe laces EVER. The laces are flat and thin and my 9-year-old who has been tying her own shoes since age 5 could not get them untied because they're so thin. Had to replace the laces and that proved to be difficult as well since the holes in the shoes were flat. New Balance - you can do better - it's just laces - don't make it hard.

My daughter and I love these sneakers! She had to choose between these and the New Balance Kids 455V2 and these were the clear winner (despite the 455's in the tie dye color being really really cute). These are sort of "low profile" in my opinion, the part in the back of the heel sits at a comfortable spot as does the tongue and neither are too stiff out of the box. As for the width - maybe my daughter doesn't actually need wides but we've always tried to get her wides and these seem to fit the bill for her, we ordered her 1.5 sizes larger than what she just grew out of (went from a 13 to a 1.5, her feet themselves are approximately 7.75 inches in lenth) and there's maybe 1/3 - 1/2 of an inch of extra room in them however she says they feel fine regardless of being a little big - I wanted something she could wear for at least a year and as long as they hold up I think we'll be able to do that. These came with flat laces (the lace holes are flat rather than round) and they seem to stay tied in a double knot all day (she's had other new balances with super slippery laces that just wouldn't stay tied even when triple knotted). The color/design is great too, neutral enough that they'll go with pretty much anything but with a nice pop of color in the minty green and purple. I wish I could get these in my size!

Shoes fit fine and are cute. But...the N on each shoe started coming off after the second wear!!! I have glued them back on twice already. Shoddy quality.

My daughter has had these sneakers for 1 month and already the "N" symbol is pealing off on one side. I only let her wear these shoes to school in order to keep them nice. After school and on weekends she wears her old sneakers. Despite being careful with them, there is already a defect. Otherwise, they are cute and she is comfortable in them.

They aren’t actually wide. We had to return them.

THese are huge! My daughter has NB shoes is size 2 and these are way bigger but I ordered the same size!

My daughter loved these shoes from day 1. They were comfortable and looked good. Unfortunately, barely a month after getting them, the logo started to come off (see picture). Zappos customer service was awesome and handled the problem immediately, but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the shoe itself.

My daughter absolutely adores these sneakers. We purchase Fresh Foam because they are Vegan friendly (no leather, Cruelty-Free glue) and purchase New Balance because of their quality and performance. Unfortunately these fell flat. Like other reviews the N on the side began to fall off about a month after wear. Zappos customer service was willing to do an exchange or return. They didn’t have her size to exchange so we are either attempting to fix or start our search for new sneakers all over again. Thank you Zappos for excellent customer care.
