I wear them for most of my training as they are incredibly light. Probably don't have the most cushion but works for my ~20 miles a week.

Really happy with the Gel-DS trainer 25 - it is perfect for when I do HIIT training throughout the week. I have worn ASICs for the last 8 years and have been really pleased - great support and comfortable and super-durable - lasted a long time before they finally wore out. I needed a new pair and was planning to buy another Nimbus Gel, but fortunately Tyler at the Fashion Island store asked me about the type of exercise I do - when I told him I do HIIT 4 times a week, he suggested the Gel-DS trainer - it has a firmer sole and not as much cushion as the other models. I decided to give it a go - and wow! I noticed the difference right away with my first F45 class - better support, more stability when doing jumping moves, despite being so lightweight. It is also very comfortable and has good air-flow. This is now my go-to training shoe - I'm definitely a fan!

A nice shoe with a stiff feel. Really good feel popping off the ground.

Great shoe! I can really feel the difference between this shoe (sprinting) and my other ones (long distance running). Performs exactly how described on the website.

I was looking for a lighter trainer for my fast days and for potential distance races coming up. I wanted to try something new and these are great. They are light, fit well, and fast! Great companion to my workhorse 2000 Ks.

Very comfortable. Nice cushion. These were mainly for work, as walking shoes. Im an IT professional, and these are amazing for me to walk in, climbing ladders. etc.. Plus the color ways is super nice

so far so good. lightweight. hope it holds for a long time as the tread is not as thick as previous asics runners. also, the color is not black as expected. the dark parts of the shoe in the pic is grey, not black.

Great running shoe! First pair of Asics and I am definitely going to be a repeat customer. They fit true to size. They have just enough cushion for longer runs, yet the support and a little bit of firmness for good ground feel.

Love the trainers, this is my second pair of the 25's and they are by far the most comfortable and well fitting shoes I've owned in a long time.

An absolutely well balanced shoe. Perfect not just for running but weight training as well. Incredible ground grip and great side to side bring maximum stability whether you're in the road or in the gym. Great fit and extreme comfort make for a great ride.

I love this shoe. Light weight, good support. Ran a marathon in this shoe with no problems. A little light in cushion on the forefoot. Made the mistake and took these shoes trail running once, BUT they aren't trial shoes....so my bad

I landed on the trainer 25 after having tried the trainer 24 and kayano 26. The trainer 24 and kayano 26 were too tight around the front part of my feet (circumference around the ball of the foot). While running, they made my feet quite hot, and numb. The trainer 24 gave me sore ankles as well. Though I tried the right shoe size, the trainer 24 and kayano 26 were not for me. The fit of the trainer 25 is good with just enough room in the front. They don't give me sore ankles and don't make my feet hot or numb. I use third-party inserts for the slight over-pronation. The spec. on the shoe says it's good for people with over-pronation, but I haven't ran in the shoes with only the stock inserts, so no feedback. I will definitely buy again when the current one gets worn out. Running surface: paved trail/road Running distance: ~20 miles/week Level: Beginner Thanks.

Can anyone explain to me how they can say the color of these is Sunrise Red/Black? It doesn't matter, because the color is just a bonus to the reliability, consistency, and functionality DS-Trainers have provided me for 20+ years ! As far as I can tell, I've owned all 25 iterations of this shoe. I'm on my 65th pair, and can envision nothing that could ever motivate me to try something else. Thanks Asics for this quality product that has taken me through most of my 65 marathons in 27 years.

What a bonus, coming across the Boston 2020 edition of my "go to" shoe. I'm assuming these were produced for the 2020 Boston Expo that never happened. Well, that loss is my gain! I've purchased 2 pairs of this style, and hope I haven't run out the second pair before April of 2021!

Great fit!.. Comfort for my arch outstanding, diet light weight.
