I had forgotten my sneakers on a trip to upstate NY for a month, so I needed a confortable and nice looking pair of sneakers. These were at the right price point, although the last time I wore ASICS was (literally) 50 years ago on the track team in high school. These are extremely comfortable, in fact I have been wearing them instead of my hiking boots for short (<5 mile hikes) up here. They are that confortable out of the box.

New customer to Zappos. I ordered my shoes and I very pleased with the fit and feel. Right out of the box the shoes felt good and did not rub a blister on my feet!

Perfect fit right out of the box. These are probably my 5th or 6th pair of Asics and they are perfect for me. I walk every day, and play pickle ball outdoors, and these shoes are great for both activities.

I'm between a 8.5 and 9 and 9 was perfect for me. I also have moderate supination and these shoes are perfect with good support. I'm ordering another pair in a different color now.

Shoes are a little more narrow than expected but overall great shoes.

To start, I have wide feet (4E). And it's difficult to find shoes that are comfortable and provide support, especially online. Previously owned many pairs of New Balance and still like them. Recently decided to try Asics as a change and was pleasantly surprised. This is my 2nd pair of Asics and was skeptical based on a few reviews. But I can tell you they're still an excellent shoe. I may have now be a permanent convert. Thanks.

This is my second pair of ASICS GEL-Contend 6. I'm a 68 year old male ( a "fit' 195lbs ) and I walk 10 miles each day. About a year ago I discovered that I had become "flat-footed" and the wear pattern on my shoe was pronounced overpronation. I started foot therapy and got these shoes as they are recommended for overpronation. I got a little over 1,100 miles out of them and the wear pattern was noticably improved. Simply put... A very good shoe and I intend to keeping using this model for as long as they continue to offer it.

Love them! Great brand. Everything Nike has to offer, but 25% less. I would buy these again.

Solid fit and good durability. I weigh 195 pounds and walk 10 miles per day. I selected these shoes because I'm flat-footed and these are recommended for 'overpronation' I'm doing 'overpronation' therapy exercises and this along with these shoes have really helped. My first pair of GEL-Contend 6 (extra wide) lasted over 1,100 miles. This puts The ASICS GEL CONTEND 6 (extra wide) at the high end of durability.

I had a size 14 in these shoes and always felt a little too snug, but gave me great arch support. Now that I gotten a size 15 feels great. I love the shoe.

Comfortable shoes!

These fit better than the other styles of Asics we tried previously that seemed to be wider.
