These are beautiful shoes and almost perfectly comfortable.....It seems to me that years ago Dansko used to make some great sandals that were basically the classic clog bottom with sandal straps on top instead of the closed-toe clog. The Mara is close to that in heel-height, and I like the kind of groovy 70s vibe of the style, but I don’t know why Dansko thinks if we want nice hard, arch-supporting insoles in our clogs, why in summer we would want the insoles to be all squashy and soft!? Please, Dansko, can you make some stylish sandals on top of the good old clog sole?

This style is just the right fit for my long narrow foot. I ordered it in burnished brown. The leather is soft and the front straps keeps my foot in place. I'm usually a size 10.5-11 and the size 41 is just right. Not so of the other 2 styles ordered that I am returning. Wish these sandals came in some bright colors for Spring. I have a narrow heel and the back strap keeps my heel secure. Happy with my purchase.

This is the first Dansko sandal I've owned (I've owned 4 pair) that feels young and like a true clog. I would buy this shoe if it weren't a Dansko. It's more beautiful on. I especially LOVE the partial leather wrapped heal. It is gorgeous. I've worn them almost every day since and feel like I've finally found a sandal that feels both on point on style and comfort. It is even prettier on!

These shoes fit like all my other Dansko sandals except that I would say they are a tad short. I am normally a 38 and I bought the 38 and 39, and while the lenght of the 39 was perfect, my arch fell perfectly on the 38. So even though my toes are on the edge (not my favorite look), I went for comfort. I walked an entire 8 mile day at Disney in these and they were better than sneakers--just as much support, but open, so not as hot.

These were very odd fitting shoes. There was a lot of space between the top of the leather shoe and my foot, but the ankle strap and length fit perfectly. The problem was that my foot was flopping around in the front of the shoe when I walked around. I have slender feet and the style just did not work for me. My feet did not feel secure.

I love these clogs. They have a wooden base so very minimal support but the cushion makes up for any discomfort. They are a little wide for my narrow feet. I can walk/stand all day at school, with no issues.

These sandals are cute and comfortable. My feet require excellent support and it's so nice it comes in a cute and stylish Dansko sandal.

Needed a day’s wearing in, but now my favorite shoes! :)

These sandals are a beautiful, rich color and they are very comfortable. I can dress up or down with them. I love Dansko!

Dansko will always be in a class unto itself. Never let me down and last forever, like the Birkenstocks. Love the height of these and can wear them all day on day travel trips, just not stepping off high steps on the tour bus. Great color, arch support and style. Jeans, skirts, dresses and easy to accessorize with jewelry, purses, etc.

These shoes are so stylish. I tried them on and thought they were a little to big but after another try on and I adjusted the buckle they feel great. I was going to return them and try another size. Keeping them now.

The Mara is a pretty shoe and comfortable shoe. It may be a 1/2 size large. I normally wear a 38, and this is a tiny bit long; it may be a half-size larger than other 38's. I gave it 5 stars for looks and overall comfort.

The only reason I returned these was because I had to choose the most comfortable and the most affordable. A pair of Vionic sandals I loved went on sale, so I decided on the Vionics. But these are padded well and have the clog base, which was nice. If you can afford them, definitely get them!

These are even prettier than they look in the photos. I agree with the other reviewer who said the shoes have a ‘70s vibe. The footbed is extremely smooth and comfortable. I usually wear a 9 (although I occasionally drop down to an 8.5 in flats and sandals), and the 39 fits me perfectly.

These fit and look exactly as expected a they are on the same footbed as other Danskos I have. Love them!

This is the first pair of Danskos I own and now I know what everyone is talking about. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, I can walk in them all day, and I always get compliments on them. Dansko clogs and boots look clunky on me, but the sandals look great!

Love these sandals, though they were just a tiny bit on the big side. Feel closer to an 8 than a 7.5. They are very comfortable and I am happy with my purchase.

These are SO cute and comfy. Great for a dress or jeans. They are a bit heavy, with super solid soles, but they make up for it in comfort. I SWEAR by Dansko's cute sandals for dancing, performing (music), and a night out. I have trouble with plantar fasciitis, and these make my feet feel so good.

Great Dansko sandal. You won’t be disappointed if you’re familiar and like the wooden clog with a padded footbed. It’s a great sandal, unfortunately, I had to choose only one pair ?.

Very soft, comfortable leather. I wear 39 in Dansko. This shoe was too big in 39, although 38 fit. Too much leather at the toes so the look did not appeal to me. Did not keep.

The heel snapped off after 6 months of wear. I expect more from Dansko

Beautiful shoes - maybe my favorite Dansko style sandal which makes them hard to return. They are unwearable only because they are difficult to walk in - they are very loose around the top and sides. I don't know that a more narrow shoe would work? The length was perfect in my regular size 38 (7.5 US).

Loved these shoes initially though they did give me a couple blisters - that's not the cause of the poor review. After about 6 months some of the straps on the front started coming undone, and the heel on the left shoe snapped almost completely off! Took it to my shoe guy and he said it wasn't worth repairing as they were so poorly made. Might seek a second opinion but I expected better from Dansko

After wearing these intermittently for about 2 months, the cracks appeared on the sides of the soles. Returning for a refund.

Unfortunately the staples came out of the side of these almost immediately. Doesn't seem up to the quality level of other Danskos.
