Not my first rodeo, and not my first pair of Danskos! I know when I buy them that they'll be comfortable from the first moment I put them on. These are no different. I'm wearing mine with socks or tights to keep the footbeds cleaner and fresher smelling a lot longer than they would be if I wore these sandals with bare feet. The width in the toes is fabulous! I'm starting to get a bit of arthritis, and my toes feel good in these. But, I tend to have bony feet, with very narrow heels. So, I had to punch another hole in the strap to get a secure fit. The cushioning and shape of the footbed are very supportive, and I can wear these shoes all day without my feet becoming fatigued. Besides - who wouldn't love a shoe named after a cheese?!

Love the style, support and workmanship of this sandal. These did run large on me. My feet are medium-narrowish and a size 41/10.5, but I had to exchange the 41 for a size 40 in these sandals, a full size smaller.

Run big! But nice looking. The arch is not as high as other danskos.

Have been wearing danskos for years- had to size down for this one. Since it’s leather and assuming it will stretch across the instep which is a little too tight

I love my shoes. They’re perfect.

I wear a 9... the size on the says 8.5 -9 and I can wear them because of the more open toe. I need a 40 in the close toed clogs

Nice shoe. Foot bed is very comfortable, but too wide and felt my foot was slipping around.

I've been looking for a fisher(wo)man style sandal with excellent arch support. I'm size 39 in Dansko, but the Brie size 39 was about two sizes too big. Dansko sizing is usually reliable, so I'm not sure what happened.

love them! ordered a size bigger because it was the only size left & they still fit awesome!

I broke my foot a year ago and now many of my dansko clogs no longer fit properly. Apparently my left foot is now a half size bigger than the left. Since my feet are narrow, ordering a larger size just resulted in the clog being too loose on the right foot. One clog that continued to fit both feet perfectly was a black pair of Dansko fisherman style clog sandals similar to these. So I took a chance and ordered the last pair of this style. Lucky for me these clogs also fit both feet perfectly. I believe the good fit is due to the fact that the toe box is bigger and leather more flexible than is typical for Dansko clogs. There is also a buckle for adjusting fit.

I haven't bought Danskos in years, and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this was! Well made. Good every day sandals for work/casual wear.

I usually wear a 6.5 but have a wide foot, so I ordered a 37. Those were far too long, so I returned and got a 36, which were too narrow. Sadly, I just don't think these are gonna work for me.

Perfect! These shoes are so lightweight and comfortable!

I got the black oil color. They were very pretty, and the perfect height! But, ankle strap was too short on my right foot that I wear an ankle brace on. On my other foot, the strap was plenty long for my average size ankles, but I felt like the straps were a bit to narrow and delicate (I'm used to somewhat sturdier shoes). My left heel slid around some in the heel cup (warning for the weak-ankled). This pair should be fine, and comfortable, for women with no feet/ankle issues. I'm returning and wil look for something with wider, sturdier straps.

I ordered my usual Dansko size 37, and it felt a little big. I appreciated the generous width - just enough but not so much that my foot slid around. Unfortunately, my very needy feet did not find the comfort that I hoped for. I’m sure these shoes would be fine for anyone not suffering from arthritic feet, but the arch support wasn’t t enough for me, and though the insole felt soft enough to the touch, my feet found it too hard to be comfortable. I purchased these shoes to have a sandal with closed toes to avoid having to get a pedicure in these still uncertain times. They looked cute, and I wish they would have worked for me.

These would be perfect if the straps were the same length. The right one is so long, and the left one is much shorter!! What happened? I tried to exchange these defective ones for the same pair, but they are out of stock. They’re the only sandals I have right now so I guess I’m stuck with these lopsided things.
