I’ve been looking all over for tall black boots w a modish vibe that are still walkable and I finally found em. Usually have an issue w shaft on tall boots being too wide at the top or super snug, I think these are a nice average in between. These are my second pair of Gentle Souls, they’re so comfortable!

These boots are a beautiful design but extremely narrow. I've never tried on a medium width shoe that ran this narrow before. Back they go.

I have been looking for a pair of lower heeled, dressier look, cushion sole boots without all the buckles and straps etc. Just a well made simple, classic look. This almost fit the bill. The color luggage with on the orange side. Not quite the same as the picture and the suede was a bit rougher, but the fit was great, true to size. The cushioned arch support was great. Could wear them all day. Very well made. Anyways going to return them due to the color in hopes that maybe next season they will come out with a dark brown.

I have wide feet and found these boots to fit them just fine. I mean they're not super wide, but they seemed fine on my big flippers. They're certainly better than a lot of other regular width shoes I've squeezed into over the years. The shaft is a little tall for me, which means it gaps a bit at the top as it flares out just where my own leg is tapering in. Anyway the leather is beautiful.

Pebbled leather soft and comfortable. Heel height perfect. Regular size fits nicely. And that back zip, love it. Mahalo for the speedy shipping guys!

These are my dream boots. I've looked high and low for a pair of whiskey/cognac colored suede boots with a moderate heel -- and finally found the most beautiful, comfortable pair I could hope for! I love them and could not be happier. Yes, they are a bit pricey. I believe the quality and beauty of these boots insure that they will be worn often, for a good long time. Speaking of beauty, the compliments I've received on these have been abundant. Well worth the price and the wait.

I hate to write a bad review, but I hope this might help someone else out there. I had high hopes for these boots because they have pretty good reviews. These boots are beautiful, I give them that. I love the color and the suede was pretty and soft. The calf circumference was great the the invisible back zippers make the boots even more useable. The negative: I consider my foot to be "typical" no special considerations. I could barely wedge my foot into the footbed. When I did, my foot was surrounded by what I can only describe as hard plastic with no give. I'm totally serious when I say that I couldn't even walk around my house to try them out, they were that uncomfortable. They pressed especially bad on the inside area under my big toes. That part where your foot curves out a bit due to the bones in our feet. I returned these immediately. My personal recommendation is to avoid these. Good luck with your boot search!

There are so many boxes these boots check. They are thick enough but soft. They have a good heel height. They aren't slippery on the bottom. Everyone else is right that they run a bit narrow. This is appealing to me in general. They are still a little wide on the top, but I have narrow ankles and calves. They very disappointing problem is that, as someone with narrow ankles, the crease on the back of my ankle digs in with each step. I know that if I wore them outside the rubbing against the back of my ankle would cause a big problem. And it was significant enough that I don't think socks would protect any chafing. Too bad.

This boot is very soft and classy but the fit is extremely narrow for a med width description. I sent them back.
