I have a very narrow foot and also am a 1/2 size. Took the half-size up and wear socks with them. The stretchy ties enable me to loop the ties in the center of the shoe. Then shoes fit fine.

In the beginning I wasnt sure about hey dudes, they look cool and comfy. Then someone suggested going a size down. Once I did that I love them. Size 8 is too big, but most 7s fit great!!
