Nike.com deleted my honest but critical review from their site. That should tell you something. These shoes fixed the two issues I had with the Wildhorse 5 - that being poor traction and a huge padded cuff behind the achilles tendon. Traction is improved and the padded cuff is replaced with a small gaiter. That said, the tongue on these shoes only has padding in certain places. The laces at the bottom of the tongue have NO PADDING under them. One run with a few downhill miles and the tendon that runs along the top of my foot is bruised and swollen days later. It's solely from the pressure of the laces where there isn't any padding. Absolute fatal flaw in these shoes.

I don't understand the other review on here for these so I felt compelled to write one, they must tie their shoes way too tight because I don't agree with anything they said. These are such an improvement on the wildhorse 5 now that it has react foam and they look amazing in my opinion. fit is great and felt good right away and the heel and collar keep your foot really secure. The only negative is the tread pattern is a bit aggressive if you're only going to wear these casually and on pavement, but I still do and it rarely bothers me. On trails these are amazingly grippy and you feel very stable even on muddy inclines and rocks. Also while the pull tab looks really cool its kind of useless because you get no leverage when pulling on it due to it being place horizontally instead of vertically like most pull tabs, still not super hard to get your feet in them as I just hold onto the collar but that could be improved. Overall these look amazing and feel amazing for hiking and walking/running trails even worked really well for mountain biking and I still wear them to the grocery store.

Good shoes, I’d recommend getting a 1/2 side up, I had to exchange mine.

i really like these shoes the only thing is they do have a lot of tread almost makes them feel like cleats or gold shoes

Really nice sneakers, they feel true to size and great support they offer. I'm loving these.

These are some wild looking shoes. Great for a little flash when out for a run. Whatever is in the soles is like having a couple of springs attached to your feet. The way they rebound on impact is like nothing I've experienced. I've never bought a "good" pair of running shoes before. Big mistake! These things are killer and I feel like I'm able to run for much longer than previous. Great grip, and love the traction they offer.

Felt great running on very rocky trails. Didn't lose footing and was comfortable and secure even on some less than ideal landings. Overall very happy with them.

Everything feels and looks great but just be aware that the gusseted tongue makes things a bit snug. Love these for the walking or running all types of trails.

Everything to like about the sneaker.

Size and fit seem exact. Really happy with them. Running on rough terrain I felt like I had more support and grip then I did in my normal running shoes (also Nike)

Have not put them to the test with a serious hike but the shoes are very stylish. They seem well put together and durable.

I definitely think that this is a very comfortable trail shoe with great grip and comfort . Alternate these with my Salomon depending on terrain. There is also a proper way to tie shoes! Have been in rough terrain with these and have had no discomfort issues. Shoes fit true to size. Only problem is pull tab. Should be vertical but never use any way. Highly recommend.

Fit is good but the main problem is ankle rolls to often on this shoes. I have experienced many times and worried this could hurt your feet badly in long run.

In the past lived this shoe, but they changed it for the worse. Ankle cushioning is not a flu set band of stretchy cloth that makes it difficult to put on. Add the oversized beefy sole sides and my favorite shoe in the past is now a dud. It was such a good shoe. Why did they have to ruin it? Now the search for something else sigh....

The size was great in one shoe...the other one felt like it was a size too small. I think we will try to order another pair and see how it goes. they are extremley good looking shoes! Maybe we need to give it another try and see if they work it out.
