You would think that a shoe with shoelaces would open up to allow your foot in. Not so. The tongue of this shoe is sewn down to the sides of the shoe - kind of like a slip on. If you have a big foot, or a wide foot, (which I do), it is very hard to get your foot, with a light sock on, into the shoe. I find this to be a very poor design and am surprised that it ever made it to production. The ribbon thing is odd, and it's quite frankly an ugly shoe. I only ordered because it was the only wide golf shoe I could find in my size on Zappos. Guess I'll stick to my regular sketchers performance shoe.

Very difficult to get on because the tongue is sewn to the top of the shoe. After a bit of a struggle I decided not to keep them. Returned them the other day.

I cannot actually comment about these shoes as I'm unable to purchase them due to the fact I take a size 2 or 2.5 and they start at a size 4, hence one star rating.
I can't understand why this us and why people with smaller feet are not catered for. I can sometimes get away with a size 3 depending on the fit and if I wear thick socks but it's not ideal.
I currently wear Footjoy Empower shoes which I buy at the start of every season in a size 3, I've no idea what I'll do once they become obsolete.

Horrible shoes. The tongue doesn't move so they are very difficult to put on. Also, they look like gun boats, and i got the medium size. I just played golf in the black ones, took them off, and donated them to the starter.
