I've been out of the running game for a while and I'm finally able to get back into the swing of things. I've been on about 6 runs with these shoes and these have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever ran in. The inside of the shoe has a lot of cushion and the outside has plenty of support to help reduce the impact force from the ground. Amazing shoe to run in!

I bought these in the gray, as well as the knit wave creation in maroon to train for the Virginia Tech 3.2 for 32 remembrance run. I had originally planned to wear the wave creations because they were maroon and orange but just the feel, comfort, and lightweight of the wave horizon was too good to not run on race day in them. By far the best running shoe I've ever owned, I will buy again. I would say these fit me better than the wave creation as well. The wave creation feels smaller ever though I ordered the same exact size in both shoes. Maybe someone from mizuno can reach out to me and explain why that is. Thanks for making this important day easier with comfortable shoes!

I use these shoes for training runs, usually from 4 to 10 miles per run. While well built and with a good fit, these shoes have very little cushion and almost no flex. While they are a stability shoe, they are overly stable and not comfortable.

I've always worn Mizuno running shoes for the last 10 years. The last two models I purchased are no longer sold.
I tried these. These were extremely tight through ball of foot and toes - first time I've had such experience with Mizunos.
Returned them but had to pay to do so at cost of $15 that Mizuno doesn't cover.
Time to change brands.

Only worn a few times so far. Very comfortable and provides the support I need. If your looking for a shoe to walk in or slow run in that that provides comfort and support this is it.

This is an awesome running shoe, very supportive for mild to moderate overpronation. I don't have any aches or pains when I run in this shoe. I've been running in the women's B width (medium). My bunions, sadly, got irritated from running in the women's standard width so I tried the men's. I think it's a bit wider than the women's but still not as wide as my bunions need, so I am switching to Brooks Adrenaline, which is available in wide.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Asics

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. Sadly, they took away some features that were present in previous iterations that make me feel they will not be as durable. They removed the toe cap, the mid sole support piece, and the material doesn't feel as sturdy. I hope that I'm wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised when I put on my new kicks. - the fit! and they were comfortable. I was expecting this to not work out for me as I have quite finicky feet and struggle to find right fitting, comfortable shoes. Full disclosure: I was replacing an alder model pair from the same manufacturer so I bought the same size. That doesn't always work but this time it did.
Quick delivery too.

I run 10-20 miles a week and have been running for 42 years. I wore Nike for 20 years and Asics 22 years. I tried the Creations and Ride many years ago and they were just OK. The Horizon 4 have allowed me to successfully train for a 1/2 marathon without any pain - feet, knees, hips or back. Nothing. They fit like a glove not too loose and not too tight. Good ventilation. Midfoot and heel lockdown are rock solid without ANY pressure points. I would not change anything. I honestly feel the XPOP giving me great energy return the higher the mileage. I have NEVER experience that. I have about 200 miles and they will be good for another 200 easily. The insert is great quality which I cannot say for most brands. I always had to buy an insert. Colors are traditional and could use some color pops but with this kind of comfort who cares. I am 60 years old 160 pounds, 5ft 11in a mild overpronator. These really do guide your total body alignment especially as the miles increase. I cannot imagine the Zenergy set to be added to the Horizon 5's. Thank you Mizuno

These are my first pair of Mizuno shoes, but they definitely won't be my last. The stability and comfort during my runs has been fantastic with these shoes, and I highly recommend if you're looking for a good stability shoe that you can count on for the long haul look no further.

I've been running in Wave Inspire for many years. I was a bit disappointed with the newest version of the Inspire so I tried out the Horizon for the first time. I absolutely love the Horizon 4 and have been running pain-free since using them.

I have the following shoes,
Nike Epic Flynit React Infinity (12.5)
Nike Turbo Pegasus 2 (12)
Adidas SPEEDFORCE am4 x Game of Thrones (13)
Asics Gel Kayano 27 (12)
MIZUNO WAVE HORIZON 4 (12)
Without a doubt the Mizuno Wave Horizon 4 (black and gold colorway looks good w/ literally any outfit, cuffed jeans, joggers, shorts, regular jeans, compression pants. Amazing shoe. Every other shoe besides these leave my feet with blisters. Although I enjoy running in the other shoes, if I had a gun to my head and had to pick 1 shoe - it would be Mizuno.
I'm not kidding. Once you get used to the weight of the shoe (seriously, walk with some ankle weights if you haven't before but be careful!) you will not even remember that they are on because they are that comfortable.
I mean you have people raving about ultra boost and nike react (which I have both btw) and yeah, theyre absolutely choice. I can see and agree why people love them. However the Mizunos are absolutely superior in every facet. The most important thing to me seems to be integral structuring and engineering of the shoe. I dont mean in a way that is conforming to your foot or safety or w/e, I mean actual manufacturing and production process. Sure you might see some glue, but with this shoe in hand compared to even the others mentioned, you can tangibly feel and see you getting your moneys worth in the form of longevity/durability.

These are super comfortable and offer above average arch support, but I need motion control shoes and on their own they don't quite provide enough arch support to work for me. With the custom orthotics I had made at my podiatist's replacing the insole that comes with them, they're perfect! Orthotics from the store didn't cut it. Great simple style I'd wear with a business casual outfit or to the gym. I tried New Balance, Asics and ON shoes and none of them quite made the cut for style, arch support or size. BTW I have a narrow foot as well, so the C width was the narrowest option, and it worked for me. Others had mentioned in reviews that these ran a little narrow in the mid to heel area. Plenty of room in the toe box to be comfortable without being sloppy.
I'd also recommend:
SAS (San Antonio Shoes), Asics and New Balance

I use these shoes for work and running. I'm a nurse so I'm always on my feet and these shoes provide the support I was looking for. I like the look as well. Thinking about buying a second pair.

I liked the Mizuno Wave Inspire 16 ,that I wanted to get a second pair in gray ,but the I tried these instead ! I like them a lot ,though the expectation that they would be even greater by a lot was not completely fulfilled ! They are great ,very light ,indeed it makes you feel like flying ,but it is a different animal from Inspire ,lower support ,less firm upper ,have been wearing them every run to get a complete feeling
