I'm normally a size small in workout leggings but had to go up to a medium in these. They are very comfortable, there is a seam around the waist that doesn't have much stretch to it. I would also say they are very similar look to the spanx faux leather leggings, but I almost like these better as they are not as heavy and they don't have the outer seam to them.
