I got this for my daughter, she wears it to school. Early morning it's cold out and this is all she needs to stay warm. She has some classes that are cooler then others and she'll throw her jacket on and all is good. It's light weight and heavy enough to keep her warm. North face where style and warmth reside!

I saw someone wearing this jacket in lavender and it took years for me to see it on the NF website. Got it as soon as I saw it.
