I was in search of a lightweight raincoat and this is perfect! The size is comfortable and I can still wear layers underneath which makes it perfect for all weather. This is exactly what I was looking for.

I just use this coat if I am on the go

Searched for a rain jacket for summertime in Alaska. This fit the bill: sized up, it accommodates layers of clothing or a sweater. The sleeves are long, but velcro fasteners make them fit. Absolutely waterproof, but the fabric is soft and breathable. Folds nicely for travel.

Overall great jacket. I've gotten many compliments on it in the very short amount of time I've had it, too. The only con is that I'm pretty sure people in Japan can hear my every move while I'm wearing it even though I live in New Hampshire.

I use this jacket on rainy days its perfect for this weather

So lightweight you could run in it or just wear it running errands on rainy days. It's not form fitting so you could go from a tank top underneath to a sweater during the colder, rainy months. Also, most hoods don't cover your face so you still get rained on. This hood pulls way down and then you can drawstring it tight. Amazing!

The jacket is versatile.

It is so lightweight, yet sturdy and warm on top of being tremendously fashionable and trendy.

Good fit true to the size

I have been wanting this rain jacket ever since I saw it online; it is a very lightweight rain jacket. If it happens to be a chilly day, I just put a sweater underneath, and I am fine. It is the sort of attire to wear when going out (casual). I am so glad I got the rain jacket when it started to rain due to the "April showers". I love the jacket!!! I pretty much use it on a daily basis: going to work, going to the gym, and running errands!

Finding hiking/active wear as a plus size woman has been difficult for many years, I have been wearing men's for a long time and hating it. I found this jacket online and took a chance, I could not be more pleased. I just got back from a spring break trip to Death Valley National Park and that was where I wore the jacket for the first time, it was an early morning trip to Dante's View overlooking Badwater, it was cool and windy but I was very comfortable! I will be birding on Cape May, NJ soon and looking forward to being comfortable, stylish, and looking like a woman. Thank you North Face.

Staying dry when out and about and it's raining.

I bought this jacket in yellow and it's a lovely soft shade. I get up early for work so it really helps with the cold as a wind breaker. I got it in a size medium and my blazers fit nicely underneath for rainy days. I'll definitely buy another for recreational use.

I think it's going to be the perfect jacket for a trip to Alaska. I'm going to get s lot of wear out of it, so perfect for so many times!

My children each have this jacket and I worried they didn't make my size, but I took a chance and bought this jacket for travel. It folds into its pocket and was excellent to pop in my backpack. I'm a larger gal with a bigger middle and I feel like this jacket fit very well without clinging anywhere. It was terrific to have on windy and chilly days and when it rained. I haven't experienced a true downpour in it, but wouldn't hesitate. A tad expensive but very well worth it!

I've worn this jacket for years both casually and for outdoor activity! It's stylish enough to wear on a day-to-day basis. It's great for layering for cold weather and light enough for warm summer days too.

I love this jacket

This lightweight jacket has served me well. It keeps me shielded from the wind and keeps me dry. It also looks stylish and goes with everything.

For some reason I thought it would have been a little thicker. I was looking for something lightweight but I wanted something a little heavier than this. I decided to keep it. It will work well on a rainy summer night. I am still in the market for something just a little heavier. Definitely love the colors.... bold and vibrant. I like my clothes a little on the snug side so I should have gotten a large instead of an extra large, but I'm sure the size would be perfectly fine for the average person
