I have been looking for a rain jacket for months, after searching and searching I finally decided upon this jacket. I am 5'8 and 135 pounds. Normally, a medium would have been perfect because it would be plenty long for my arms and torso. Sadly, this was not the case. The medium ended up being too wide around the midsection and the arms were far too long. I am reordering this in a small with hopes it will fit

Stylish. Waterproof and nice but a little thin material. Not warm.

Not bad kind of stiff needs to be broken in a little to be a little more comfortable.

I wish the fabric was softer and didn't make crinkly noises like a potato chip bag when you move! I have another northface rain jacket that is much softer

I bought my jacket to wear hiking, walking and snow shoeing in Alberta during the fall & winter months. I'm finding the inside of the jacket is dripping wet but it's not raining or snowing. What's going on? my body heat is getting trapped in the jacket, turning into moisture & dripping out. What crazy technology is this? Is this supposed to happen? I'm ready to return it. Would NOT recommend it.

The jacket was what I expected with one big difference. The color was significantly lighter than what it looked like in the photo. I ordered the "Oatmeal Heather" color. The true color was basically cream.

I expected it to be lined with some type of warm material. It can serve as a windbreaker also but isn't warm at all. It is very thin but I was surprised how well it kept me dry when it was raining.

Bought the jacket for my mom for christmas in a different style. Had her try this style on at the store n it fit. Ordered it online in the color she wanted and it doesn't fit now it's small on her.

Very disappointed on it's supposed breathability. Not sure what "raised half layer" on the tags was meant to imply, sounds like mesh which it isn't. Had a moderate walk of 5-6 miles and was saturated on inside. Shame as it is a nice light colour for cycling, and probably good at keeping the rain out - tho no rating given on that. I'd take it back, but got it in the States.

too thin

This jacket is tremendous! Great fit and nice color. The only issue is the service at the North Face stores. After you find help, good luck. I needed another size and I was handed a tablet to order it myself. No one works on the sales floor or even tries to help. Too bad, because the North face product is superior.

Love the jacket but wish it wasn't so fitted.

Great rain jacket although, it is very light and not at all warm.

I expected to find a much thicker jacket but when I received it in the mail I was disappointed to find that it was more of a thin rain coat. Nothing wrong with the coat itself I was just not very well informed of what I was purchasing

Returning product. Sleeves were very long and the feel of the jacket was not comfortable.

Obviously this is a rain jacket, and I would only wear it in the rain as it would be a little stiff for day-to-day wear. It definitely repels water and keeps ya dry, I'll give it that! My only complaint is that the color in real life is NOTHING like the photo online. I ordered garnet purple heather, but in person it is a really dark purple. Still ok but not as advertised.

I like it! I should've gotten the smaller size though.

I needed a Plus Size jacket for everyday and for activities that is waterproof and breathable but I didn't have a lot of money to spend so this was a good value. The selection of Plus Size active wear is limited in color and styles and is often only offered in Black. Nice to see a variety of styles and colors for my needs.

Disappointed because I thought that this jacket would keep you warm. It is strictly to keep you dry and is very thin.

Just wish was a little thicker so when I wear a warm fleece underneath it helps with cold weather.

This jacket was much much lighter than I expected, but it seemed like it was very warm which is what I was hoping for. I ordered a size up from what was suggested so that I could layer, but the fit was small even without layering. If I had ordered the suggested size it wouldn't have fit at all. The sleeves were very long -- talking 4 or 5 inches beyond my fingers. Unfortunately, I had to return.

Great coat, just thinner than I expected.

Really like this easy form relaxed fit jacket. It keeps me dry/warm in the rain and is easy to store. Problem is the inside liner peels from the seams on the neck. I've had it for two years and live in the pacific northwest where it rains often. I'd recommend it if not for the problem.

I haven't worn this jacket yet but I am pleased with the fit (room for warm clothes underneath) and the packability. One big drawback: I viewed the jacket on 3 different computers and on all of them the colour was a much lighter tone. I would describe it as periwinkle. I'm not at all happy with the actual, dark purple colour. I am living in just ten days for my dNorway trek, so I'm stuck with a jacket that disappoints.
