Wouldn't buy any other brand or jacket choice for life in the Pacific Northwest! You can layer a sweatshirt or sweater underneath for colder weather, or wear jacket with a t-shirt when it's warmer but rainy. It covers your "back end" just enough that you don't end up wet when raining. Awesome protection & cute too!

I ordered this coat online in an extended size so I wasn't sure how it would fit once I got it. I was pleasantly surprised most companies don't take in account that if you are a larger person you are probably a little taller are longer in the arms as well wider in the shoulders this coat hit all the markers good shoulder room nice long length to the arms I played baseball in it all weekend kept me dry and warm great coat would purchase it 100 times over

Where I live it's always raining and I needed to get a raincoat asap. After beyond loving both my Northface fleece jacket (get it if you don't have one) and my Surge II backpack, I went straight to Northface for my raincoat. Wore it for the first time the other day in torrential down pour and it lived up to the Northface standards!! Their products never fail to amaze me!

Bought this rain jacket because it was packable, lightweight, waterproof, and fit quite well. And I liked the available colors. It fits me just right, I think it is true to size. There's room to wear a lightweight sweater underneath if I wanted to, but I needed it for summer wear, such as on the boat, where sudden rainstorms can leave you soaked! I also plan to take it on trips where the weather might be unpredictable because it is packable and lightweight. I haven't tried it yet while jogging since the weather has been too warm but believe it will be ok for my 3 mile jog/walks. Hope this jacket lasts me a long time because I'm happy with it right now.

I bought the Frost Blue and it is such a pretty color. It's lightweight and perfect for mild rainy days.

This is my second Venture Jacket. The lining in my first one started peeling off on my clothes but with North Face life time warrenty I sent it back for repairs/or replacement! It had to be replaced. It is rainproof, breaths well if it is warm out and very attractive looking. I highly recomend.

I love this jacket. I have 2 one to keep at the boat and one at home. It isn't a warm jacket which is why it is great for warm weather or over another jacket. I get loads of compliments. I wear it in the spring and it does block out the wind so in most instances you wont need a jacket under unless it is really cold. I highly recommend it. I bought my daughter-in-law one and she loves it too.

This jacket is simply amazing! I was able to roll it up and pack it in my purse, and pull it out when the weather got rainy or windy. It is super lightweight, but really does the trick when it comes to keeping you warm and dry. I normally wore this over a fleece, and the combo kept me comfortable is some truly heinous Irish wind and rain storms.
This jacket is excellently designed to keep out wind and rain. The hood has a great soft bill and adjustable tabs to keep it on your head when it is windy and wet, the neck in front snaps sort of higher so you keep out the wind, and the sleeves have velcro straps to keep out cold and wetness. The bottom is slightly long, but it kept the seat of my pants dry. I also felt it breathed well, I never felt hot or stuffy.
I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone traveling in wet weather.

I got this jacket about 3 years ago and HAVE LOVED IT. It's lasted me until now, after wearing it at least twice a week for 3 years almost its started to look a bit worn down. I thought it was time for another "basic color" so i got a white one this last week and something about the fit is different, I ended up having to return it because it was just too big and long on me! I got the same size I did 3 years ago but I'm a bit disappointed because it was my favorite jacket and I will no longer be able to fit into any of the new ones! Anyway, everyone is saying that the fit is small but for me it was about 2 sizes too big. Did NorthFace start making the sizes larger? Off to the kids section I guess!

So far so good. I like it. Hasn't rained yet so I haven't tried that part out but it's light feels cheap but that's okay it's good so far I figure the material feels cheap because it's thin and what it's made out of if it changes I'll edit my review go up a size

I like this jacket but it is very light compared to the exact same one I bought a year before. Completely different material. Runs a bit small.

This is a nice lightweight jacket for a drizzle but is not warm and not waterproof. Wore it in a downpour and my shirt underneath got wet. A little disappointed in the protection since it says it's 3 out of 3 for waterproof. But it fits nice and works for light rain.

I wish the jacket was shorter. I'm 5.3ft and the jacket kind of covered my butt and I just don't like that. I wish it fell on my hips. I returned the jacket.

Comfortable and fits well; feels a bit plasticky though. Love all the adjustments I can make for a perfect fit.

I usually wear this in windy and rainy day for a sport, but what's great about is this avoids rain and wind and keeps me warm. Also because it's light, it doesn't prevent me from moving fast.

I like it ! It is so light and help a lot in this rainy season. I didn't like the size though. I'm petite so everything was fine except for the length of the arms hahaha but it's fine !

I have used this jacket once already and it worked well for keeping the rain off. I wish it had one of those double zippers so I could open up the bottom for better range of motion while still having the top zipped close. The teal is more of a navy color but is still nice.
