My son has a wide foot, it split other shoes. But these shoes have held up very well.

Ordered a wide for my 6yo who kept taking his other sneakers off at school - like 20 times a day. His other shoes were sneakers but also waterproof and good for hiking, so a little heftier and heavier. I switched to a croc on a teachers recommendation, but he hated them at first....they grew on him but those still ran big and were a tripping hazard and would then have to pack other sneakers for gym... So I decided to find a light-weight traditional sneaker that hopefully he would forget he had them on and so far so good. I like the color of these shoes too - orange and blue. :)

Perfect fit for my grandson. We have trouble finding Velcro closure in his size and a wide width. He has issues that make tying shoes for him difficult. Would buy again

If your children have wider feet, then Saucony is the brand you want to buy!! The shoes fit perfectly!! Only wish my grandson had, was ones that lit up as he walked!!

My kid is 6 and wears afo on one of his foot, while an insert for the other. It fits him well, no adjustments were need (took the insert out and he was good to go), the strap reaches over far enough. Not that he likes too much, but he can take off and put on these shoes by himself. The shoe is very light and he does not get sweaty feet.
