I've been wearing the Adrenaline's since at least 2002, but wanted to change it up for a different running experience. I have also been wearing orthotics for over 10 years and currently do most of my running on asphalt and concrete in the 2-4 mile range. These Ravenna's feel pretty solid as far as energy transfer and give me a much better feel for the road which helps me run a bit faster. One downside to this aspect is that I also more friction in my feet on a decline. I have wide feet from the mid through the toe box, so I ordered my typical 2E. It seems a bit more narrow in the box than the Adrenaline's but it nothing that would stop me from using them and should break in a bit more. I'll keep using this pair, but may go back to the Adrenaline's for a more cushioned running experience. I think these would probably be great on a flat track.

I have worn the Ravenna series for many years and they offer great support and serve me well. I can consistently get 350 to 400 miles before replacing them, running purely on pavement. The design of the tongue is a bit odd this time and it feels like the top of the shoe is digging into my upper ankle.

The tongue is a bit smaller and awkwardly designed as compared to the 10's.

The Ravenna 9 had a stability post in the sole of the shoe vs. the Ravenna 10 and 11 use guide rails for stability. Under my foot, the 10 feels better than the 9. Looking forward to replacing my worn-out 10's with the 11. Note I use the shoe in the gym but occasionally run short distances in them.

I bought these shoes specifically for running. I have been running for 2-7 miles for a long time but lately trying to increase the mileage.
These shoes feel ok as long as I am running under 9 miles, but my legs are super tired if I go over 9. I have not been able to run over 12 miles and it's strictly due to my legs. I made a conclusion that the shoes are on a heavier side and the arch is too high. I am close to being flat-footed and feel like high arch is the issue for me.
I used to run in old cheap reeboks and never had any issues (although I never ran over 9 miles then), so I just bought a new pair of reeboks floatride and will give them a shot. They are much lighter and I do not feel the arch so hopefully I can run longer and without the pain.
I'd also recommend:

I LOVE brooks shoes. I’m constantly wearing these for the gym and daily activities. I also have a very wide foot and brooks USUALLY work for me, however these fit a lot more narrow than any other Brooks shoe I have purchased in the past.

Only one run on the new shoes. But the front seems little tighter than previous shoes. Thinking they just need a little more breaking in. If not, I will be returning the shoes. Besides that issue---ok

First time buyer who has always ran in cushioned, flexible shoes. At 78 I,m needing more stability and support. These are not what I expected. Comfortable and quality for sure. I have a high arch, narrow foot. I've run four times on the treadmill approximately 12 miles. Laces keep loosening no matter how tight I tie them.

Fast, light and tread is pretty durable. I also prefer all grey shoes and this style nailed my color preference on the head. The only problem is the heel padding on both shoes. It started to wear through after the first week and caused me to retire the shoe to early. It's still a really good shoe though.

Not on par with previous Ravenna shoes. ( latest for me Ravenna 7).
Current shoe is a good walking shoe. Adequate but not great for running. Not much upper support nor lateral support, toe box not as generous. Too bad.

The shoe needs more cushioning especially in the heal.

These felt wonderfully supportive, but the width was just not as wide as advertised for the size 8 men's EE width. I'm a woman and I usually wear size 9.5 women's EE width in shoes, and these had my wide feet flopping over the edge. Very annoying.

Slipped in the back; unlike the prior Ravenna fit.

Nice looking sneaker but toe box and heal fit to narrow. Sorry to say sending back. But Zappo's makes that easy!

Hate hate hate the new upper material on the Ravenna 11. The mesh is a much firmer material than the last iterations of the Ravenna. The new material gets indented with any pressure from your finger or if you're down on the ground stretching and doesn't pop back up into place. Everything else about the sneaker is good...the arch support and the fit. I'm forcing myself to wear them, but I was able to find my size in the Ravenna 10 on a website so I bought them.
I really wish Brooks would not have changed the upper mesh material on the new Ravenna.

The shoes fit great and provide good support. However, they cut both of my ankles open every time I run, so I have to wrap my ankles whenever I wear them to prevent injury.

not as comfortable as the Ravenna 7's, and the Adrenalines I have had previously. Upper seems to be higher than on the 7's and rub on the ankle bone. Ok, but don't like as much as previous models.

They do not off the same support at the Adrenalines. Was looking for a more uptempo shoe that offered the same support. I guess I'll keep looking.

There's something wrong with the left shoe. I've been running in this shoe for years and for whatever reason, this version is causing me pain on my left foot. I've tried two different pairs of these Ravennas and had the same issue.

My son used these shoes for 2 months for work only as a nursing assistant, and the inside lining has worn down to the plastic in the heel. Disappointing.

I have purchased Brooks for years and this is the first shoe that did not last 6 months. The heel on these shoes is tore up and it rubs my Achilles when working. The other brooks I purchased at the same time are working great

The sole is too thin for my liking. The toe area is not as wide as my Ravenna 9's, and doesn't support my foot the way I prefer. The material of the outer looks cheap for what the shoe costs.

I didn't like these at all. I put just under 150 miles on them and my legs felt fatigued and they bothered my knees. Appearance wise the looked nice and might be an ok everyday shoe, but they're awful running shoes for me. This was the 3rd pair of Brooks I've had and I'd rank them a very distant 3rd. I bought the bedlam 3s to replace these and the first run out of the box they felt better than the ravennas.

I've been using brooks raveena for marathon/training for years. this model cut up my achilles. (I wore tab socks too, soaked w blood) shoe would not soften in the back after multiple uses. Received no compensation... I still would never leave Brooks, just this shoe was not up to level with my past experience.
