I ordered a second pair of these shoes for my spouse, who struggles with foot and ankle pain. He can wear these all day with minimal discomfort, which is truly remarkable! They are functional, comfortable, and address his specific needs almost perfectly. He loves these shoes; however, he was disappointed with the color options. Hopefully, this model will be offered in a broader range of colors in the future to accommodate more preferences. Despite the limited color options, overall, these shoes are an excellent choice!

I need more room in the toe box of the shoes. I have a sore toes and the mediums are to snug

The Dyad is an excellent, consistent neutral shoe for running or walking. I have been wearing the Dyad for 7 years since an injury that required rehab with orthotic inserts. The Dyad was the only shoe that accommodated the inserts well. The insole is easily removable. Since then, I've stayed with the Dyad as it is great out of the box: no blisters, no breaking in. The cushioning is adequate. I also wear these for moderate hiking. I would give this shoe a solid five starts except for one thing: they are so grievously and unnecessarily UGLY. Seriously, Brooks, I know you can do fun colors/patterns - I see all the options for the Ghost. But year after year, Brooks condemns this solid shoe to fashion shame: same boring, ugly colors year after year after year. Do better, Brooks. Color options have only changed once in the 7 years since I bought my first pair. The Dyad deserves some attention.
