The mesh in the area around the collar (the hole to put in the foot) got destroyed after 2-3 times of using the shoe. Other than that, I love it, very comfortable and provides the support I need for my arch.

I have only worn ariel for about 20 years. I am a WW and use orthotics. I am sad because I don't think they look good. I hate black sneakers and the light gray ones here look geriatric to me. Please bring back the styles of eariler years. My favorites are the teal and navy ones from about 7 or 8 years ago. I also like the darker gray with the magenta accents from about 4 years ago. I bought the black and teal in these and sent them back. I just can't do black sneakers.

I have a few pair from Brooks, Ghost 14 and adrenaline 22. All in 7 wide and feel great, however the Ariel 7W is narrow and tight. I had to check to make sure they sent the right shoe. I'll be returning these.

My Ariel's are very supportive and comfortable but they started to split apart at the seams on the front on both shoes. I'm disappointed that they didn't hold up better I haven't had them that long too.

After more than two decades wearing Brooks, these will be my last pair. The updated Ariel's are very cushioned but without stability, they are just pricey shoes for running errands. I can't walk more than a couple miles a day in these much less go on a longer walk. The shoes are already showing signs of wear after only a few months of light use. I love the way Brooks fit and feel when I put them on. However, this version has sacrificed stability for a bit of weight. They also have very poor traction.

These shoes are never on sale that I know of. They are very expensive!

Matched size of the brooks that I adore so much just to find these are tighter in the toe box.

I has previously purchased the "Adrenaline" and was replacing them and liked the look of the "Beast". However, the Beast is cut smaller and I ended up returning them and reordering the Adenline.

The shoes are already tearing around the ankle. This is the second pair to do this.

I would like to see some type of reinforcement in the big toe area to prevent holes in the top of the shoe.

This my second pair of Ariel's, and again within a few weeks my toes have poked a hole through the mesh at the top if the shoe. Otherwise they are pretty and stylish and very comfortable
