This is now my only go to walking shoe! I wore them all day in the house to see how they felt and forgot I had them on. Thats how comfortable they were. I walk 3-4 miles 5 days/week and find this style provides the support and comfort I need. I bought the wide width and the fit is just right. Thank you Brooks! Sorry it took so long to find you!

I hope you are NOT discontinuing these as they fit perfect! Since you're making them in China now, the heals crash in when the foot goes in, making them difficult to put on! I do NOT run; just use for walking on my deformed foot. Brooks was recommended by my Dr. Not as supportive either.
Thanks! I do think the Aerial shoe is the best choice though. I tried your others..Aerial 18 WAS my fav!!!!!

Its been working great as indoor exercise shoes! I have flat feet and need a lot of arch and stability support. So far, these shoes feel comfortable for my ~1 hr workouts!

I wear size 9 for New Balance and Merrell even though I am usually size 8.5. But the Ariel '20 size 9 is so tight as if it's a size 8. Hoping a 9.5 would do the trick.

Wow! What a disappointment! The toe box is shorter and wider, and I have a long narrow foot. The removable shoe insert has the maximum support instead of the support actually being in the structure of the shoe. The shoe is a lower quality shoe than any Brooks shoe I have owned in the past 15-20 years. Why make a cheaper shoe instead of advancing toward greater innovation, technology and structure to improve performance? Maybe its time that I begin searching for a different brand. This shoe is not worth the money and I am sending it back! Very disappointed!

Great color combo! I will say that the most recent version, the Ariel 23, fits my orthotic and ankle brace better, and seems more supportive on the sides. The problem is the choice of dark colors sucks.

I want to love these so much. I pronate/tend to stand on the outside edges of my feet, have arch pain, and heel pain when standing for long periods. I have had a pair of Launch 9s that I love for the heel cushion. Able to stand for long periods. I switched to Ariel after the Launch 9 support degraded and I rolled my ankle badly.
The structure of the shoe is really solid. I almost CAN'T roll my ankles in these things. It keeps me from standing on the outside edges of my feet. Walking in these things are amazing. I feel very stable.
HoweverI can't stand still in these for more than 20 minutes without extreme foot pain. My job is mostly standing at a desk so these unfortunately won't work. I might switch my work shoes to the Ghost Max for similar support of the Ariel combined with the cushion of the Launch. However, the Ariel's may become my walking shoe.

I ordered two colors in this shoe, the alloy w/green trim to be a bit smaller in the forefoot/toe area. I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis and am trying to find a good shoe with lots of cushion.

I've bought many styles of Brooks and the Ariel was recommended to me by a local shoe store. I bought these in two different colors. I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis and thought these might work. Although the fit and quality are good, I'm still not sure if there's enough cushioning for me.

Loved the look of the shoe, but even though I sized up a half size it was still too short. Bought the wide, which I normally wear, but it was very tight. Didnt get a chance to try em out because they did not fit. Returned.

This is the 3rd pair of Aerial 20s I've bought. Love the support, but have a major complaint regarding the non-reinforced toe. My toe has poked through the fabric on each pair within a 4-6 weeks. Otherwise, the shoe holds up well. I expect more from $160 shoes!

I love the style and design of the shoe because I can wear it with jeans to the office, and it does not look like a running shoe. I only gave the rating a four because I expected the shoe to have more cushioning. However, the shoe is very supportive and has alleviated my heel pain.

I had to get new shoes for Disneyland and Brooks are my go to for sneakers. I wasn't sure at first if these were going to work, they are a little bit snug in the fore foot width, length and arch (7 1/2 B my usual size) but seemed to have good cushion. I tried them around the house with different socks and decided they would work for the trip. I have very finicky feet so with fingers crossed I took them. They worked great logging about 8 miles a day with some sock and lace adjustments, I really like how these laces had a little stretch to them for my high arch, they were barely long enough (a problem with Brooks laces and high arches) but because of the stretch worked fine. I loved how these had more cushion to them than most of my Brooks for those long Disney days. I alternated with my 2020 Divides that I absolutely love but are pretty worn out and they don't make them the same anymore so the hunt was on to find a new style of Brooks.

I have flat feet. I used to need more motion control when I ran. Thoght I needed less support for walking, more for running.
My feet have been cramping up and achy for a while just putting on a plain tennis shoe to walk around in every day. Even the adrenaline GTS made my feet crampy to run or walk in.
I bought the Aerial thinking the cush and Support would help for just every day walking around shoe. What a difference! Love the shoe for an every day walk around shoe!!
I am still hunting for my running shoe. I don't need motion control for running Adrenaline GTS is just not cutting it ,so it's working on the running part now.

My podiatrist recommended these specific shoes for Plantar Fasciitis in both of my feet. Then he wanted to make me custom made orthotic shoe inserts, however they are 350$ and my insurance doesn't cover them. We did the molds of my feet, but I called to cancel the order because these shoes helped me tremendously with my foot pain. I might still get the orthotics because this pain is an ongoing thing. As far as the shoe goes, they are supportive, easy to break in and fit perfect. I usually wear a 8 1/2 but I ordered a 9 wide. They were a little pricy, but taking care of our feet, then takes care of our ankles, and knees and hips...so I think it's worth it.
