I will be interested to see how these last in the toe area.. The last pair that I had wore out quite quickly, and I had to return them for a refund. I'm hoping some improvements have been made. Also, I believe more cushion should be left in the sole of the shoe since those of us that use orthotics need it to be their rather than in the insole.

This is my first pair of ARIEL'S......I bought them because I was going to be walking a lot on my trip to The Czech Republic.......first off I paid $500 for orthotics....big mistake....after the first day I took them out and walked without them...what a difference....this shoe has an orthotic built in.......after 2 weeks, I had NO problems what so ever....AND I noticed my back pain was less......now over a year later, I have very little back pain if I wear these all day. I'm retired so no need for dress shoes....I hope Brooks reads this, I am in Arizona and need a summer shoe with the support that Ariel has.....I will say, for the price they charge for these, the shoe laces could be a little better quality. I noticed other folks said the same thing....good grief, my fingers hurt trying to pull the stretch out of it....no laces in the summer shoe, or at least very little, keep the heel elevated works great!! looking to stop with the flip flops here......

Very comfortable and supportive

I have been using Ariels for everyday use since 2016. This is my second pair of the Ariel 20. It is true to size, width, and comfort. I use orthotics and it it works well with them. I over-pronate and Brooks hold up well. I like the darker version of this shoe. The lighter color I just received may have an issue with looking dirty quickly.

I purchase Ariel’s by Brooks each year. They are the most comfortable all around walking show. Bought two pair this time and am thrilled by the style, color and fit. Perfect!

If you get shin splints from over pronation, these are shoes for you! I love them. They provided the most support for my foot of any shoe I’ve tried in 15 years! I just wish Brooks would make them available in better color selections and look a bit more up to date. Try these shoes and I hope they work for you

All good/great with the exception of a continuing issue I have with the tongue on just one foot. BUT, this is not the first shoe to exacerbate that ... and is in all other ways exceptionally supportive and looks OK. Would appreciate more color choices <-- not that there's anything wrong abt the current ones.
